2 plants, same strain - 1 is flowering/budding slow?

Hello,

I got 2 plants (Northern Lights) under the following conditions:
  • Week 5 flowering.
  • CFL: 6x23w + 1x200w = total 356w @ 2700K
  • Humidity: 35%
  • Temp: 80 F (27 Celsius) at the stem.
  • PH: 6,3
  • Pots: 1xSmart Port + 1xNormal growing pot @ 11 liters each.
  • Watering: every 3-4 day depending how to soil feels.
  • Nutrient: Gold Label (Soil A+Soil B+Ultra MG) following schedule for flowering in Soil with feed/water/feed/water setup.
The plants are right next to each other and are getting the same air, water and nutrient but one is really slow when it comes to budding. Had some problem with to hot PK and low N (yellowing leaves etc) but that affected mostly the one that is doing best in budding.

The only difference between these two plants (planted the same day) is I topped+LST (pulled it down) the one that is slow in budding but only topped once the one that is doing OK and no LST. Is this the reason? The plant thinks it got more main colas and therefore spread the energy among those resulting in slower budding?

The are a big big difference in trichomes between them, not sure that can be seen in the pictures, it's like its 3-4 weeks behind. It also got very short pistils where at the other one got long nice pistils that is now turning brown as I should.

Any ideas?

Are you sure you didnt get your seeds mixed up. They look like different strains. They could just be different phenotypes also.

They're clearly two different phenos. The kushberry plant i'm growing yeilded about half as much as another kushberry plant i grew from the same pack, and it smelt, looked and tasted different. You could still tell it was a kushberry though.

I've ordered from Sensi Seeds Bank and it came in the same package, I've never had any other seeds in my life. First time grower.

How can I check if it is the same strain or not? Is it consider something wrong with the plant/seed or is it just the life of cannabis in the way you can get different phenotypes (same strain but look different?) where I get smaller buds?

Don't be such a Pecker.
It's Pheno's of the same strain.....I have strains that express 3 very different pheno's! 1is very Indica dominate, 1 is very Sativa dominate and the third is a clean combination of both....Each has it's own growing traits and each tastes different and each has a different buzz.......
Yours look Indica and Sativa dominate.....The thin leaf Sativa will run longer and can be more "airy".

Yeah you did have to much P to early on some.....No bloom nutes till week 4 and you'll not have that problem in the future. No spike in P till week 6 if you "spike".

The Sativa pheno looks nice.....You might "tickle" the P a little at week 6.....Be sure she has full light,,,Sativa's are light "hogs".
