my ladys are about 4-5 feet tall now still in veg mode, mainly indicas. they are not crazy bushy though. i have a simple question, whats best method for yeild, lollipop ( cut all useless branches off ) or should i cut a few areas in hope to go bushier?

I am not the most experienced here i am sure but to answer the question, i think it also depends on your strain. I have a strain that automaticaly makes buds on many side branches, so topping is not needed. If you have an outdoor sativa, topping can make it more a bush like plant.

you could also try super cropping, I have had luck making plants that are normaly lanky turn it to bushes just by super cropping.
