Hmmm.

So last night I took the PH down from 6.5 to 5.8 (and tonight I've brought it down to about 5.5 but that's after the below photo/gif).
I also changed my 400W MH bulb (new) to a 600W MH bulb.
I also lifted the lamp by - well - you can see. 6 inches or so.

Bit of a transformation!

well, I'm fairly happy with light distances, and I've used the 400w bulb in the other room with great success, so I'm saying... ph

Yeah - I just assumed PH imbalance would be more subtle. I'll keep on top of it and see how things go.
