2 stage veg? t5 vs 150w MHs

I am thinking of doing two stages of veg. Now this idea is only for my personal growth. No more than 10 plants in veg at a time. 1st stage I would start under a couple T5s for sproutings and freshly cut/planted clones. Then after the first week or so, move them into stage 2, under 1 or 2 150w MHs. I thought about just doing all veg under T5s, but I would like to get better growth before going under a 600w HPS. (agree or disagree?)...Anyone know a good place to get 150watters? Hoods and set up? I dont think my local hydro store does 150w MH. I know pet sotres do...I used to have a couple reef tanks...but their mark up is unreal.

I am currently growing with a 175w mh and I am satisfied with the tight nodes but the vertical growth is slacking. I added CFLs to it and its doing much better(side branching nicly). In my opinion, do a combo, make it so you can have the t5s close to the plant and the mh further back, but make sure the t5s arnt blocking the mh lumens. I know you will be pleased with that.

Yeah they make aquarium hoods like that...just VERY expensive. know of any garden stores that sell 150-175w MHs? I could set up a 2ft T5 fixture in the middle of 2 MHs, if I can find hoods small and compact enough.
