2 step or 4 step, F or H on 3070?

Whats the difference between the 2 step and 4 step, (the F or the H in the model Number)

any one know?

2 step is technically better than 4 step if you are setting up interior lighting and someone you live with can notice a slightly different tinge in the 3000k ceiling lamps, although it's unlikely you would even notice with a 4step.. I would not pay more for 2 step unless it was like 1 cent more.

+1 on church's comments. I bought two 4-step 5000K CX3070's last year. One is slightly bluer than the other. Took me a few days to even notice. I have no idea which is better for veg. Who knows, some strains might prefer a little more or less blue than others.

But I could certainly see where a lighting contractor putting in an expensive LED installation might want to stick with the 2-step.
