2 strains in one Wilma system?!

Hi,

Long time lurker, first time poster from London, UK!

I'm all setup for my first grow in a SJ DR90t with a 4-Pot Wilma and 400w hps.

A little thoughtlessly, I purchased 2 feminized seeds of 3 different strains. NL5xHaze, SSHaze and Bubba Kush. This means that unless I buy two more seeds I will have to grow 2 different strains simultaneously... Will this pose any problems?

I'm thinking that if I use the NL5xHaze and Kush seeds, they will grow fairly similarly, given they are indica / indica-dominant? Would this be my best option?

Cheers! :joint:

^^ Thx man, so you didn't encounter any problems with height difference or flowering times?

I'm planning on using Scrog so I'm hoping that will solve any height difference issues...

There's not a lot you can do about flowering times, but with some LST, and maybe topping, height shouldn't be a problem. I'm getting a Wilma 4x big pot system for my next grow, how're you finding it?

^^ Cool thanks, thats good to hear, germination starts now :)

I have the smaller Wilma 4, it looks like it's gonna do the job man, won't know until I grow! :D

In hindsight I probably would have gone for the big pot version, although for me space is a limiting factor, the DR90 tent is all I can get away with at the moment (not sure if the Wilma Big pot would have fit in there).

I think you'll be happy! One thing to note, when trying to attach the Wilma pump to the long tube that connects to the dripper wires... you really have to force it on with a 'twisting' motion... I thought I was going to break it, so I took it back to my hydroponics store and they assured me that it needs to be fitted quite forcefully.

Thanks for the heads up! As soon as my veg room is empty of DWC buckets I'm going to put one on order.
