You need to get them in a pot and the very bottom round leaf always yellows and falls off. They have done their job.

Get the plants into some good potting soil, get them out of those clear cups.

Everyone in here has at least one good suggestion. The plant doesn't look like it is dieing but the feeder leafs do. You do not need them little yellow feeder leafs. The plant only uses them as a last resort for there food. They are eating the feeder leafs because there are no other sources of nutrition. The plants need to get some nutes asap.
:leaf:
Follow these instructions in this very order ASAP
:leaf:
Get your pH pen, calibration fluid, up, & down ASAP!
:leaf:
Get some nutes (i use foxfarm) ASAP
:leaf:
Transplant into a hydro system ASAP
:leaf:

that plant (seedling) is far too young to be givin nutes to... maybe flush everything out with correct phed water and let grow for a couple of weeks before starting with 1/4 strength nutes....:weed:

they are almost 3 weeks old. the nutes are at 1/4 strength. the leaves are spotting a bit but the new growth looks alright. still not super healthy tho. the roots have some brown spots on it too?

The new growth is what you should pay the most attention to. Also pay close attention to the roots. My roots have a few brown spots on them; but, for the most part the roots are a nice crystal white color. I believe the brown spots are just from old dirty water, because i had not changed my water for 3 weeks (just changed it today). I was beginning to think that I had root rot from having high temp water.

i thought the same thing. my water temo was above 80 for maybe 4 days and when i pulled out the plants to look at them they definetly had some bown parts. still some white but definetly also brown spots. the first fan leaves are a bit spotty too? what should i do? change res? what will get rid of the root rot? ill try and get some better pics up soon.
