2 weeks left in flower, saw spider mite affected leaves approx: 5-10 count. WHAT would YOU do

I removed every affected fan leaf, not significant webbing on them but definitely spider mites. Just before anyone asks how I know, to me pests are obvious, I am constantly baffled by people who think fungus gnats are aphids, or mistake thrip damage for spider mite damage. I have spider mites, most likely the two spotted kind.

I know that I don't have much time, like one or two days to a week before they cover the plant.

I have amber trichromes on the sugar leaves but not on the calyxes.

I feel it is too late for predator action, I will buy predators in veg next time round, as I grow outdoors and move it indoors in fall.

I wanted to put it in my shower under cool water, but it is way too big, approx 5 foot 5inch high and 5 foot wide. I do not have access to a backyard or hose or anywhere to spray with hose.

I am under the impression from research that the mites will give up once it starts to dry, can anyone assure me of this.

Should I do a george cervantes wash method when I hang it.

Would you in your experience try to flower it for two more weeks, or cut losses and harvest early.

Strain is Pink Lemonade. Because I was trying to be like Northwood but I am a failure.

Even if you cut that plant in 2 weeks it would be early.
Spray or wipe the undersides of the leaves with an iso and water mix once a week or so. Should keep their number in check till harvest time

U sure, I think 2 weeks is accurate, I know the calyxes should be fatter like Northwoods, but I assume nutrients, light and temperature were not ideal for the entire grow.

I think the first three pics had flash which makes it look like all the pistils are white as snow but dey not

That pic looks alittle farther along, but still not worth chopping for a few spider mites.

Least harmful way to knock down the population is to manually wipe under each leaf with 50/50 alcohol/water mix, like Boatguy said. I would do that since you may have more time left to harvest than you think. You don't want to harvest that plant early, looks to be some nice bud. Best to let it reach its true genetic potential.

Dish soap and water or mixed with alcohol will kill the buggers. Spray away and keep a fan on them I would say.

I am also very afraid because I have lots of gardening experience with other plants, but this is my second try at marijuana. I have seen other plants go from a single leaf with spider mites to the entire plant covered in webs in 1 week...

Spraying alcohol seems scary to me as I am under the impression alcohol dissolves the resin bubbles on the trichromes...

Anyone ever have success with hydrogen peroxide

I wiped my seedlings stem down this last time when one of them got 'spots' with H2O2. Got rid of the spots and no harm to the plant.

Pouring 90% iso over you buds is much different that misting the bottoms of your leaves with a water iso mix.

An additional question. Is it sensible to pluck some popcorn buds dry them quick and test if she is at all potent.

70% iso is more effective than 90%.

Just keep checking daily and wiping with paintbrush. Make sure they don't make webbing on the calyx's and you will be good. Cold temps slow them down and humid conditions (not good idea in flower though).

Iso? Why would you do that? Alcohol will dissolve trichromes.... bad idea...

Dish soap in warm water... and spray the underside of leaves.... soap disolves their skeletons....

Your right in that they look like they have a few weeks....

The other option is using hot shot sticks.... they are toxic... so you have to have good ventilation

Botanigard. Organic certified for use on food crops up to the day before harvest. Expensive but worth it. From experience.

I also swear I saw a predatory mite today, it was red in color, the others are ALL yellow and black that I have squished. It was also WAY faster moving and appeared to be jabbing another one when stopped. I tried to get video but phone is potatoe.
