This is my two week old plant grown under 1 200w 6500k (from above) and 1 75w 6500k (from the side). It grew normally for the first week and then some yellowing appeared on the leaf tips. it continued to spread, so i tasted the leaf for any nutes (i had previously added a very small amount just to experiment) and i did not taste any. Also, but this is not one of my main concerns, the plant doesnt seem to be growing vertically much. I am almost sure it is due to the close distance of the cfls'. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I have moved the plant to a slightly larger (5x) pot and will continue to increase the pot size throughout the grow.

Without a ppm meter a small amount could have been more than you thought. Plants don't need nutes for a long time. If you have organic soil and water without chlorine or fluoride as in reverse osmosis water. Leave your water out for 24hrs to evap some of the chlorine and fluoride and then only use water for the first 4 weeks of vegging.
