2 Weeks to Harvest - Mosaic Virus?

Good evening. I have been dealt a fairly damaging oppioion from a very experienced grower. He took a half second look at my girls and tells me that he thinks I have TMV.

So the girls really look terrible, like in just the last few days. Does this look like normal end of life feeding or the dreaded virus? Any ideas on how to save this crop? Tomorrow starts my 2 week countdown to harvest.

Looks like nute burn, possibly cal and mag deficiency, or possibly root rot. Whats your environment like.

TMV is rare. I don't think that's what you have. two weeks from flower I think you will be fine. trim off some of those dead leafs so you don't get mold.

Someone who blames such an obvious case of heavy overfertilizing on a virus of another plant species is not a very experienced grower but just someone full of shit. Just so you know (:

Thanks for the input guys. I have been following the Fox Farms feeding schedule to a T since early in veg. Everything looked really great up till a couple days ago. Im kinda at a loss. I must have fat fingered one of the nutes last week.

a combo high nutes nute lock out and mabe broad mights

dont trip get back up on your horse and leson learned we all been hear get it together and learn the only way to learn is just what your are doing tial error and pritty much you master it soon enough

Thanks my friend. It sure as hell is discouraging, but you live any you learn! I think Its still salvageable at this point, it's just not gonna be pretty. I have been battling Spider Mites basically the entire grow, too. ITs all a learning curve.

If you followed the FF directions that might be your problem. Their feeding schedule and amounts are pretty high for most grows. I always cut their amounts in half. When sticking to their schedule I've seen over nute problems.

I was just going to go there.....FF is way to strong! Hits the P way to hard and way to early...

Save some coins and try some Dyna-Gro, grow formula.....Run it all the way through....Plenty of everything!
Excellent single nutrient feed for novice growers.....All I would add is a silica and a zyme product.
Feed one day, water the next and repeat till done.

They will finish, just not all pretty like......The overall quality will be effected....

Dr who could you please give me a link for this information. tmv can be transmitted to many plants. I would like to know why the cannabis plant cannot be afflicted thanks.

The plant disease caused by tobacco mosaic virus is found worldwide. The virus is known to infect more than 150 types of herbaceous, dicotyledonous plants including many vegetables, flowers, and weeds. Infection by tobacco mosaic virus causes serious losses on several crops including tomatoes, peppers, and many ornamentals. Tobacco mosaic virus is one of the most common causes of virus diseases of plants in Minnesota.

Many viruses produce mosaic-like symptoms on plants. The virus almost never kills plants but lowers the quality and quantity of the crop, particularly when the plants are infected while young.

Virus-infected plants often are confused with plants affected by herbicide or air pollution damage, mineral deficiencies, and other plant diseases. Positive identification of tobacco mosaic virus in infected plants often requires the services of a plant pathologist and the use of an electron microscope. Although it may take a plant pathologist to diagnose tobacco mosaic virus in many ornamental plants, the majority of tomato plants showing mosaic symptoms usually are infected by tobacco mosaic virus

im not the most experienced but that looks a little familiar. my guess is nute burn, then nute lockout, then deficiencies due to the lockout and maybe some root rot. id let the soil dry out a little then only water with strait good water. clean up as many dead leaves as possible. i found it easier to get rid of bad leaves right before they become dry or they break apart and stick to your budz.

broad mites do the same.. thing lolz test it if you got the pockets i just came out of it my self but the pesticide to clean it up are eligal unless your certified and also have to have the right ppe equipment not all pest protection breathing aperateses work budy just got out of the hospital for breathing it for a few seconds almost killed him and the comitioners office was at his neck good luck broad mights are a mother fucker also gear up if you do find the antidote and have someone thier with you just incase you get it on you its a must life and death for realz!! also if you do please take the time to research its not like home depo or hydo store gear its comercial shit!! it can realy kill you your pets and your family if you spray in your home..

I don't use that stuff. don't have broad mites either.and i dont want to smoke your shit
