I run 700w worth of CFL and a 50w Fan off a 20 amp extension breaker without issue. I have pushed many more watts through a 20 amp breaker with computers/servers and still be fine. You should be good to go.

Grab the plugs in your fist and hold them for a Min. if they are warm unplug something and try again. If the plugs are warm your pulling to much juice.

Ballasts get warm you should be concerned with the cord where it plugs into the wall if the plug is warm then you should check how many amps are being used.

yes, all of that will fit onto a 20 amp breaker. dont put more than 17 amps on it.

holding wires to figure out if its good isnt as smart as doing math. quit being a lazy pothead and get out the calculator.

What I think nubby is trying to say is, 'HID lamps, as well as other growing equipment, pull a lot of 'power'.... The 'power' used in a grow room can potentially become a lethal amount, before you start plugging in High wattage ballasts and such things you should do a bit of research on 'amps, amperage per circuit, amount of amps drawn from your equipment etc. Once you understand the basics, you then can pull out your calculator and you will know exactly what to plug in so you don't, by accident burn you or your neighbors house down.
