100% efficient I think isn't possible, but 99 is pretty good lol. It should definitely work for a few clones or seedlings. Looks sweet though.

Well Its Friday and got no news on pricing,, on Drivers and cobs but its not like i came home with nothing here is a 5000 k LED unit i purchased think i am going to get few more thinking may be 3000 k and 4 k who knows maybe run them vertical in cob room for total of 4 units this would mean 3000k 3500 k 4000 k 5000 k and 6500k haha
Am i missing anything lol

Well as you can see these units do not come with plugs so now to get it all hooked , But the one they had on display was pretty dam bright considering ,,
So I honestly don't think its going to be a major game changer.... But when i decided to make a all LED room for this year , with Cobs i think these hung vertically will compliment the room which ever way you look at it
One thing is for sure this one is going to be hung for germinating and clones for now if it impresses me like sunblaster T5 Ho's have ,, i can get a whole wack of these led's real cheap as they have skid full of them with Flaws being bent metal etc they'll litterally give them to me

Hey all little update on this build been waiting on my buddies shop to get prices back to me told him i need them early next week or i will just order them from some one else pretty much told him get his shit together as he is holding me up ..
So typical hurry up and wait giving him till wed next week and i will just order everything from Jerry fuck it

thanks i will give buddy a chance will email Jerry on total cost but i think this leaves ordering power supplies separate, that is what i was hoping all in one order rather then ordering from different companies

Ok as of 30 mins ago everything is ordered have already the main bodys done and waiting 3 of them will post some pictures tomorrow or might wait till there painted and clear coated building 6 units total 6000 watts Solar powered i think people are really going to like my actual bodies its genius and most importantly FREE

That's a ridiculous claim. A 250W HPS produces at least 7 times more photons. There are some losses but these two are nowhere close. Should work well for clones, though.

Many years ago when I started growing all that was available was magnetic HID. Then about 4 years ago I got into LED, about $2000.00 later I'm still using my HID. To me LED works, but not even close to HID S. I've been very interested in DIY and the technology has advanced greatly within 4 years.

Well with the Big hype on Cobs etc figured WTF go big or go home so like many are Claiming that there getting 2.5 - 3 GPW i guess i should be seeing some real ridiculous numbers specially in a perfet Co2 enriched eniviroment

for instance posting pictures of my Actual units i will be installing cobs in heat sinks will be on top of units holes drilled etc for cobs so with running them side by side in 2 rows will be 8 feet wide x 21 feet long if i decide to make them 400 watt units 16 of em mind you there saying i should expect over 1000 grams from that 400 watt Cob unit mind you 6000 watts worth a complete roof of lighting or make them 600 watt units giving me 10 units @ 32 x 48 side by side again giving me 8 feet wide x 13 and change long or 104 Sq feet @ 6000 watts thinking more in the 400 watt unit set ups can always runs some vertical to lower room size of light area but that is butt jointing units side by side on both styles

I here you man Just saying when we look on overall average yields a 250 HPS makes ?? kinda bring out a new meaning to photons i mean 250 watts of Cobs should blow it away but the led light will work for seedlings an clones and little pre veg
So not expecting much but it will or should be more efficient then over 400 watts of T5 Ho 's

Ok so anyways got couple skids of these @ my warehouse just brought a couple home to clean up all they are is old office T5 fixtures but Free is all that matters and they will work perfect i think

So now either make them 400 watt units or 600 watt units there like 32 x 48 i am leaning to 400 watt units and having a full roof of em butt jointed together with a way to lower and raise all in one like a wall of light ..
Decided on round heat sinks from Ozzie land per each cob drivers attached to middle of unites doing this will allow me to run like 4 - 6 " pvc tubing full length down the middle of units will cut pvc where drivers are mounted being there going to be raised off the unit and on one end have 2 90's attached to bring PVC pipping down the other row for and run small powered Exhaust fan that thermostatically controlled
Anyways should work slick

yeah why the hell not by the time i purchased tin or what ever to make some units etc why no retro something like those ,, Right ?? even if a person was to mount a long heat sink on top of that unit is still would be a neat set up ..
not only will i sand them down and re paint and clear coat once holes are cut .. but will have the best of both worlds REFLECTOR AND LENS let alone have wiring harnesses etc mounting brackets a person is set really and i am digging my concept of making them like a coot tube but open ended with PVC or some sort go rectangular havov on top of them so cool sinks drivers 100 watt - 200 watt fan would probably do the trick

Wad up fuckers lol so looks like Fri cobs are suppose to land woo hoo so brought home shit load of units guess i better start getting my ass in gear sanding prep work etc still need to order some misc buddy electrician is excited to get wiring and doing his thing so between his ideas my ideas should have some pretty neat unit

And i mentioned to by buddy pending on weight of unit i think it would be ccol trying to make a couple like a ceiling fan so spinning units
