still fucking trimming! took a long break today after the first few hours and now i just got done with a few more hours. i will be done tomorrow afternoon. i think the numbers are gonna be god awful......but the quality is superb. i doubt i hit the .5 gpw mark but we will see. maybe im just being pessimistic but i think the heat when they got too close to the lights did a lot of damage. i have very spaced out buds on the tops nearest the reflector area(which is nearly 2/3 of the god damn table lol) but like i said the quality is up there big time. the difference between the quality of the coco and rockwool is night and day. the coco buds are dark and not near as frosty. they were given the same food and everything, only difference is vertical bare bulb and media. the left and the center bags are the same cut. you can see the difference in color is huge. i'll get some close ups side by side tomorrow. im beat!
i expect to halfway fill another one of those big bags more or less. we will see tomorrow. all the clones go into their cubes tomorrow as well. no rest for the wicked.

Following this awesome stuff. And you convinced me to at least go LED (Cobb preferred but at least burple for veg) that node spacing is amazing and I do bushes not SOG or SCROG(might eventually if I go perpetual but I have a hard enough time getting a few plants to grow

coco buds on the left. 600w vert tent coco/silica stone mix. rock wool buds on the right. way lighter in appearance and even with the heat stress and over crowding they still look way better to me. these are the same strain/cut from the same mom. nice little pile from the trim tray
now i just gotta decide what the hell im gonna do with it

total numbers are just under 2.5 for EVERYTHING. vert and SOG table. terrible GPW numbers but i blame the heat stress and over crowding. many lessons learned with this setup and strain. the future is looking bright im soaking up new knowledge like a sponge and ready to put it to use. waiting on my cxm22s to show up. cant wait to get my build on! gonna be dropping a few grand on some LED shit in a couple days. look forward to some big things soon

in a few weeks i will be building a big kief tumbler and buying a rosin press setup. i have a nice closed loop extractor that i built and need to get out of storage and blast all this trim in the mean time. i was trying to hold off for the rosin press but i need to get my edible game on

Is this a safe way of making dabs?
My cousin made some ghetto dabs yhat I tefused to try cause it looked dark and he said he did it in a bathtub. Didnt sound very safe.

rosin press would be the safest way. no solvents involved. no risk of explosion. no residual solvents from some turd who doesnt clean it properly lol. look it up on youtube. there are cheap setups you can make for about 300-500 for a legit press. but you would still need to build or buy a tumbler or you could squish buds. im not gonna squish buds. only kief

Inbox me about those hoodsI am at week 3 of nine right now. I am not an LED fan boy YET but i am building a few grand worth of LED arrays right now. the one thing you will get from me is unbiased and well documented outcomes from my grow. if they suck, i will tell you they suck and why. the same for if they happen to kick ass. if they do kick ass, i will be converting full over to LED and you can hit me up for my 20,000W of hps, hoods etc
my 4x8 will be lit with anywhere from 1200-1600W at the wall saving me anywhere from 600-1000W per hour and a fuck ton of heat. the heat is my real concern. the wattage is just a bonus because the amount i will save over 2 4X8s will allow me to throw up a 3rd 4x8 for the same juice as 2 HPS 4x8s. this is a HUGE win in my book......if they dont suck ass, that is
i had my original run in with shitty LEDs in the past and i think that's what most people think of when they hear LED. I also think that most people like the thought of them until they price out a build and get halfway through and they are already at a grand to do a 4x4 lol. i am expecting to be pulling WELL OVER a gram per watt which i have never achieved with HID lighting. my best is 5 1/4 from 4 plants from 1 1000W and 4 600w vertical in a 9.5X9.5 tent which was only around .68 gpw if i remember correctly. i'll attach a pic for the naysayers lolView attachment 3846270
