i agree. to really push a 100 sq foot room your ganna need that figure if not more like he said. if i had the money i would get like 6 1000's and vent them so heat will not be an issue. if your really trying to make the 100sq foot room pump your ganna need alot. lol

what i would do is dedicate a corner of the 100 sq foot room get a flood table 4foot by 8 foot and put two to four 1000watt lights above that area and cram as many 2gallon square grow bags or pot on that flood table as you can let them veg until about six inches and then go 12/12 if you use four 1000watt light that will be 62 watts per sq foot wich is more than enough and if you use two 1000watt light it will be 31 watts per sq foot and that aint bad i saydoin it that way and no stress on the plants and havey feeding you can pull easy a pound to a pound and a half a per 1000 watts of light so wit two light that 3 lbs and four 1000watt lights thats 4 to 6 lbs but iv also seen people put two plants under each 1000watt and veg them untill ther two feet and they pull a pound a plant
