I have both. Which would you guys suggest using for 4-6 autos in a 16x16x48 grow tent?
200w cfl or 150w hps?

i second that but only if the cfl is 2700k

Use both if you can, whether the cfl is 2700k OR 6500k. Don't use it if its ~4000k

CFL is 2700k, but I don't really have room for both. Grow tent is only 16"x16".

HPS in a 16"x16"? Yikes. Is the 16" the full grow size? Or do you have to hang the HPS in there? Either way you are going to be fighting many issues, heat will be a big one, even with just a 150w HPS. My first grow space was about 30" tall by two feet square. There is no way I would have put an HPS in this tight an area.

Yeah, the HPS is actually hanging in there now. Tent is 16x16x48 and the light is about 18" above the plants. I've got a 6" exhaust fan pulling directly off the bulb and a oscillating fan. Temp stays around 85. Too hot?
