Sprayed all of the plants with BT this morning. The buds are starting to grow :D . It almost looks like the DV is less developed than the RD, but it has bigger buds. The RD is getting really crystally but so far the DV is just really hairy. The RD's buds so far are pretty small in comparison to the DV right next to it, but I have faith in my babies they'll pull through for me :hump:

Hey ambs,
Thanks for the kind words and tips for the bloombastic. I think I'll start feeding it next week. Unfortunately I don't have a greenhouse to grow in, but I may be making one out of PVC piping and painters plastic haha. Luckily, my friend just got an indoor tent and setup this past month, so I guess we could use that. I wish I was able to grow indoor, however I live with my parents and they wouldn't allow it :(. I vape a lot but I tend to lean towards the bong haha! which do you prefer? My essay was a 5 page epideictic on Nelson Mandela lol. Hope you're doing well,
Brandon

PS, hopefully next year I'll be able to grow some TREES :D
:joint:yo brando!
hope you are doing well today.
I think once your parents start smoking your delicious stash they are going to change their minds vERy quickly about having an indoor set-up. You wait and see. I will even place a bet on it! :joint:
I love to do bongs but i have to vape more often because its so much healthier for me. I cant smoke Joints anymore because they rip my throat up bad. I just recovered from a bad throat irratation from burning too many last weekend up in the mountains. Vaporizing is so much softer and just as powerful. I love my volcano. One of the best investments of my life.
That essay you wrote sounds intense. cool.
HOpefully next year you will grow some TREES? cough* what do you call what you have now buddy? hahahaha
i hope all is well and wonderful in your beautiful garden. I hope to see more pictures before i leave for amsterdam. :peace::joint::joint::joint:

Have you started adding Bloombastic to your feed schedule?

Have you started adding Bloombastic to your feed schedule?
Hey Amber!
You're in amsterdam?!?!!? WTF! where was my invite haha! I've always wanted to go there, are you having fun? Funny that you mention an update, I just took some pics yesterday and this morning that I was gonna post :D. So far I haven't started adding bloombastic yet, but I probably will within the next few days, I think I have enough tea left for one or two more feedings. Think this will be enough or should I buy more? I already have my sights set on next year haha! I want to run a carport like JJ so my parents won't have to worry about the plants being in plain sight. This will allow me to put it wherever I want, including a spot in our yard that gets almost 2x the direct light as the plants do in their current spot. I figure if I make a raised bed for each plant filled with Roots soil and Subcools super soil I'll grow some monsters :D. Gonna get them started much earlier than I did this year too. I really hope you bet right and my parents become interested in an indoor setup, I would be stoked :D! However, I have a feeling my parents are too uptight to do something so drastic haha! Lately I've been using my vaporizer less and less. It's not volcano, but I still love the machine :D. Think you've inspired me to start using it again.. The break on my lungs definitely would help my cardio haha!

Was planning on posting the plant update before I leave for class but it looks like I'm not gonna have time. I'll post it when I get out in a few hours :D. Thanks for stopping by on your vacation Ambs, hope you're smoking some chronic!

PS, if you have the chance, stop by Barney's coffee shop and smoke some Red Dragon, Dr. Grinspoon, and LSD. I want to do that sooooooooooooooooooooo bad!!!!!!

I've gotten a lot busier during the past weeks, so I haven't been visiting the container plants as frequently. These plants have been really crazy... it was a toss up constantly for which one was looking the best as most of them fluctuated from bad health to good health.
First off, a few of the leaves on both plants have little spots on them like this... I don't really know what it is, but it's only happened to a few leaves.

Now for the container plants:

The Gigabud. I think it's nute burned... but I've cut back on the nutes I was feeding it (flowering tea) to 1/3 of the previous strength. Don't really know what to do, but just let it play out I guess? Comments or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The Cali Hash Plant is looking pretty good :D, I'm just happy it turned out to be female!

The Super Skunk is looking really nice... it looks like it's gonna produce a bunch of big sized nugs! (Similar to the bud growth on the DV, kind of... just long spears of buds because the branches don't branch out much)

The SUPER Lemon Haze :D. All of the plants are flowering except the SLH, which has still not shown any pistils. We will definitely either be taking the SLH inside into the tent, or making a little green house for it. We put a tomato cage around it upside down so we could tie some of the branches that are leaning against the bucket to the wires on it. I got a really bad angle of it when I took the picture, and the Purple Haze and Super Skunk kinda look like they're part of it. DON'T BE FOOLED, my SLH isn't that big lol.

The Purple Haze. Pretty bad picture, but oh well. Right now the Purple haze is looking great! It blew up after we transplanted it and is the deepest green of all of them. I'm kind of worried about bud worms/bud rot because the branches are so tight together, think I should pull them down?

The Chernobyl. This plant has grown so well in the short time it's been out! The cola on it looks to be very promising . And with a name like Chernobyl, I'm expecting this strain to be some nuclear strength weed! haha

The Island Sweet Skunk. This weed is looking like some straight fire! It's the farthest along in flowering of all the plants by far! I'm super super excited for this one, I'm pretty sure this is gonna be at least on of the plants next year in the ground .

I really like this pic :D rising sun in the background... didn't even mean to do that, I was in a hurry haha

Also, remember that branch on the RD that I super cropped and never really healed? Yea... well it never really healed. Here's a pic of it when I first did the supercrop, it's the one on the right.

Now, it's kind of hard to take the pic from the same angle now, because all other 3 branches have blown up. But here's a pic comparing that branch to the other top.

This branch still isn't budding or growing or doing anything, the leaves are just slowly yellowing.. Should I just cut it off? Here's a few other pics of it, sorry it's kind of hard to get a good one..

Thanks guys!

LORD HAVE MERCY!!!!!!!!!!! lol..what a garden you have there. Im so overwhelmed right now. oh, and im not in amsterdam. yet! im going next week.
I have 3 strains i must smoke for my mission to be complete. Tangerine Dream, The exodus cheese and the DOG... and maybe plushberry.. anything and everything else as well. but those are the top 3 musts.
So back to the garden. The yellow leaves indicate NItrogen deficency most likely.
Your super lemon haze is so freakin sativa lookin which is wonderful.. but why is it so short? no idea..i need to come over and inspect.lol i ithink i should start showing pistils soon with the light changing now.
Flush that gigabud and clear its system from too much nutes, if you think its over nuted. Feed it some micronutrients like Earth Juice microblast, humosol or hygrozyme with are great additives with no nutes.
The island sweet skunk is very very nice. I think that looks like a wonderful 12/12 strain myself!
i hope that helps a little brandon. I havent been growing very long but i wanted to help with my limited knowledge.
Peace bro. got some funny pictures for you to look at later.
take it easy
Amber

Go ahead and cut that branch off if it aint doin nothin Brandon. That way the plant can focus it's growth on what's important: the bud sites!

Thanks doowmd! :D I think I'll be cutting off that branch today, I'll take pics afterward. Compared to the DV the RD has so few bud sites. Does this have to do with strain genetics, or to the fact that the DV is less dense foliage wise and more light is penetrating to more bud sites? hm....

the answer is both really.....the genetics CAUSE the DV to be "less dense foliage wise", so more light penetrates to the lower bud-sites.
I'll cut out some of the fan leaves and sometimes a top bud site or two to allow more light penetration on dense plants.

This afternoon first the wind had me worried thrashing the plants around. Now a light sprinkle? Gonna make a little green house I think...

I was under the impression that the rule of thumb was a gallon for every month its going to be alive
That is false IMO. I did plants in 10 gallons, and 20 gallons this summer in a GH. Same strains, and the ones in the 20 gallon are noticeably bigger. These plants were only a month old(out of clone early june) when transplanted to 10 and 20 gallon smarties. I will NEVER go with a smaller pot again. I read so much info one way or the other and I'm convinced from my personal experience that the bigger the pot the better. If I had 4 gallon pots right now I think I would be totally fucked as far as yield and quality goes, not to mention the constant watering needed. All of the plants have been air pruned on all sides, and have grown into my gravel flooring on the floor in my GH. So the roots will fill it up NP.

I should add a qualifier though, this may only be for outdoor plants.

Hey guys, how's everyone doing? I'm really loving this time of year :) I can see the buds swell up by the day, it's so awesome to watch! Still no sign of budworms... I'm wondering if I should spray one more time, or just leave them til harvest. What do you guys think? I fed them bloombastic this morning, I've got to get some more of that tea.. How many more times do you think I'll want to feed before flushing? See, that's the thing, I'm pretty uncertain about how far they are into flower. Some help from you guys would be awesome, I took a few pics of each plant in the ground. Anyways, here are the pics.
