Hey balconyfun, I bet you could judge when they're ready to harvest just by eyeballing them. I've never used a scope or looked at trichs. Also, don't get too hung up on what someone claimed the flowering time should be, as there could be quite a margin of error. It also depends on when you started calculating your flowering time. If you started counting when your first female pistil showed up, then that would throw off your calculation.

I can't wait till my plants are full-on flowering and I get that awesome smell coming in thru the doorway. Enjoy!

I started counting flowering time the day I put 'em outside... I've read about a 1 week transitional period and whatever, so maybe I'm still another week away on top of what I think I should be at. Either way, it's coming SOOOOOON and I'm stoked!

Well I flushed 2 out of the 6 last Monday, and the other 4 I'm giving a nice big flush today. I also bought some Clearex and ran about 3 - 4 gallons of water w/ that through each plant too. I read somewhere that it really brings out the purple in the GDP, so I thought I might as well try it.

Sorry for no pics, but I've been super busy w/ a new job. I'll definately snap some before the big chop chop, though. Hopefully next weekend the first ones will go!

yah i know about the pics i know lol sorry... most of them are looking super frosty with nice plump buds, but LA Woman looks stunted from the hours getting longer probably... whatever, it'll still work, I bet! Larry OG, GDP, and Sour Kush look awesome. Plump and Frosty as Fuck. Madman never really gave me a lot of buds.. even the cola sucks. The Bubba is a bush, it's nice too, but the buds don't look super big. I'll see how they look in the morning light and maybe snap some pics, but no promises :)

dude i grew the LA Woman last season! turned out to be some DANK!!! I kick my self in the ass for not cloning it.... :( She will produce some super dense nugs!

so thats the good thing, I did attempt to clone 4 out of the 6... unfortunately 1 didn't take (the sour kush, which is turning out awesome). here's the other 3.. the left is GDP, middle weird double one in the middle is larry og, can't wait to take clones off her and make her sprout out like a monster bush. The dixie cup is LA Woman so I can try her again.

Just figured I would share my experience with LA Woman with you. I did not grow the girls but had a pretty good friend that did. I don't remember really smoking any really fat buds off of her. But the thing I do remember is that smoke was some of the best I have ever had!! Really good high didnt make you go to sleep and it didn't make you jump up and do jumping jacks. It was just a very relaxing high and the taste was excellent.

Day 70 Larry OG... I'm taking this one down tomorrow! I actually found the microscope and checked her out... she's frosty as hell and about 50% amber, so choppy choppy!!! I also have a nice clone that I took off this one.

Day 70 BHBubba... trichs cloudy, maybe 1/10 amber... there's a few, but they're spaced out. Probably next weekend she's going. I was thinking of doing her tomorrow as well, and I still may. Depends on how much the four big colas of the Larry OG take out of me.

Day 70 Sour Kush... Looks great, trichs lookin cloudy but not much amber. Giving this at least another week. Tiny bit of PM that I've been spraying with green cure... has been there a few weeks and hasn't really spread, so yay. Last time a lot of my trimmings were trash because of pm and bugs, so i'm stoked i am only spotted with pm and there's not a bug in sight, knock on some fuckin wood!! Unfortunately none of my clones took... Sour Kush is looking great, that would have been nice!

Day 65 GDP. nice purpling on the edges, it's been kind of chilly at night here in SoCal lately so maybe that's helping. It's funny to see all the different reasons people have for how getting this strain to turn purple.. there's so many common ones it's hard to know what's right. And I just have them outside, so I'm not messing with temps or CO2. Anyway, looking mostly cloudy, probably next weekend with the chop chop. I also have a healthy clone of this one.

Here are some closeups of the fallen LarryOG. Frosty Fucker She Was!!! The smell is that distinct OG lemon-fueled goodness!!! Hopefully I can cure all her beautiful buds properly!

I thought I'd get a little more yield, but I'm damn happy with what I do have!!

Well the LA Woman and Madman OG got the axe today! I takeback anything I said about LA Woman... that bitch gave me the biggest nugs yet! So dense and fuckin dank smelling!!! Madman didn't disappoint, either. Nice frosty nugs and smell.

The Bubba and Larry OG have been moved into some paper bags while these are hung from strings. Pics taken but too tired to post tonight. Soooon.
