Got a heat mat and 38 seeds(two diff. strains) so far.
Gonna use a plastic hanger to space the tray/dome from the heat mat. Without spacing it, the temp sits at 85F, and with the hanger spacing the heat it sits at a steady 75F.. perfect.
Don't wanna be burning up good genetics
Gonna start germinating tomorrow in pucks.
Will be getting T5 within the next few days.

Ended up finding 5 more healthy seeds on some great looking buds from the Cannatonic #2. That puts my total Cherry Tonic count at 23 and that's all of them. Happy and ready to start germinating later

20 Platinum Cherry Tonic's:
Paper towel method of germination in closed tupper wares using warmed RO water, and then getting placed in my heated dome of 78F until germination. Then they will be going into Jiffy Coco Pucks.
I'm excited to finally be able to do a serious outdoor grow using seeds this year. I've been doing tent grows from clone inside for so long that I've been dying to do an outdoor from seed. It's now time.
Lights were turned off and the tent was closed up after this pic for complete darkness until they pop.

10 out of 10 Girl Scout Cookie seeds sprouted within 16hrs of germination, I was shocked
I warmed up some RO water, PH'd it, and expanded the pucks.
Pocked holes for the seeds using a chop stick, and then used some tweezers to carefully drop them, root tip down into the coco pucks. Should see some sprouts within the next couple days.
Cleanliness is key:

And the wait is over... harvested this past Fri night.
If you've been following along... I pollinated the small Cannatonic with Platinum Cherry Pie pollen. I wanted somewhere around 10 seeds but ended up with 28. I'm not complaining what so ever, the buds themselves are perfect. Rookie mistake though. Shouldn't of pollinated with my fans running. What was I thinking? Haha oh well. At this point for this season I have 10 Girl Scout Cookie seeds(from actual breeder, ask me if you have a question), and 28 Cherry Tonic(Cannatonic x Platinum Cherry Pie). I got my seedling heat mat, tray, dome, pucks, etc.. ready to go. Gonna get started tomorrow. More updates to follow

all looks good man. awesome you got so many seeds,cant wait to see those cherry tonics. So what did you end up liking more, the 400 or the dual 150s with cfls?

The 400 was MUCH easier to maintain and keep cool with an inline exhaust fan. I constantly found myself having to reposition the CFL's for maximum lumen penetration. It gets old and repetitious yielding 3-6oz. every time inside. SO excited for this years outdoor

Have you ever had it tested to see what kind of THC to CBD ratio you're working with?

I'll be having it tested in a couple weeks and I will post the analysis. Actually quite happy to find out the results. Check back sometime. I should have it posted by the first week of March at the latest I'm hoping. Have you ever had any of your CT tested before?
