Dude I can not stress enough how your wasting these bulbs... CFL'S get up to like 30. Degress (C.) they can go as close as you can get them to the plant with out the leaves actually touching. The majority of "Usable light" is lost after the first inch of a CFL (Globe) to a plant they're light doesn't penetrate far either so side lights are a must have in your case. You have plenty of bulbs you just need to get the most out of them.

Hey you gave it a shot. I would try to surgically remove the balls from this heri and keep an eye on it might give you nice buds.
