2015 outdoor grow SSH and OG Kush

So this is my 2nd grow. My first was here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/strawberry-cough-from-seed-250w-1st-grow.323062/ Had all males from regular seeds. It's been awhile as I didn't have the conditions to grow for some time.

For this grow i'm using all feminized seeds. One Super Silver Haze (from greenhouse) and one OG Kush (seedsman freebe). I'm using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil all the way through with 33% perlite in it for better drainage and aeration. I'm going to use the Fox Farm trio (grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom) for nutrients. Final container I plan to use is 20 gal. I'm going to veg for about 8 weeds and put them out in mid-may or so. For indoor veg I have a 250W MH light. They're still really young: 5 days old today. I plan to use dolomite at some point to prevent ph issues. I'm vegging them near a window to ease with the transition to outdoor when it's time. So far I have watered once using distilled water (saturated the soil until water came out the bottom) the day the germinated seed was planted. Right now they're under daylight cfl's at 18/6. Temp. been around 77-80 oF Humidity around 25%.

I got both of the shells off yesterday and watered. Looking good.

How long did it take for thse beans to pop out of the soil

They both took 2 days from when I planted the germinated seeds.

Welp. One week old today.

Day 8.

Day 9. It was getting pretty dry last night, so I watered...and I may have watered a little too soon b/c the OG Kush leaves drooped a little. So I watered each plant again with 50ml containing 1ml of 3% H2O2. Looking good this morning though and I got the picture right side up this time!

Day 10. They look almost identical to yesterday.

Day 18. OG Kush is recovering from overwatering (even though it got less water than the super silver haze).

Day 25. I put them under 250W MH and transplanted on day 21. Compared to my first grow (strawberry cough), these are growing slowly. The only thing I did different here is left them in the solo cups and cfl for 3 weeks rather than 2. Guess now I know to transplant from solo cups at 2 weeks.

Day 30. They're growing!

I think this grow is going to be a success since i'm using feminized seeds. Last time I tried twice each with two plants and all four were males.

Day 50. They're a little small but looking ok. I fed with nutrients on day 47. Transplanted to bigger pots on day 40.

Day 58. They are looking good. Good news, both are showing preflowers. The SSH has pistols and I can't tell yet on the OG Kush. Been watering every 4-5 days and giving nutrients every other water. Each water I give 2500ml. Pot size is 3gal. For nutrients, I'm giving 20ml of big bloom and 6.5ml of grow big. I want to start using either pond or well water soon, so I ordered a TDS meter. I also ordered some Earth Juice Assist so the water wets the soil better. They plants are also accustomed to outdoor sun now; they can be out all day in the sun when it's nice with no problems. I changed the photo-period over the last couple weeks (10min a day) to 15 hrs of light to ease the transition to outside. I typically put them outside whenever the sun is out. I was planning on making a greenhouse, but I don't know if i'll get to it...maybe in a couple months.

Today is day 106. SSH is 5'5" tall and OG Kush is 3'2". Both are doing good and growing fast. They're in 20 gal containers. No pics as I don't want to show a lot in the background. When I move them to an open area I'll post some pics. I think i'll have to transplant again before harvest...to at least 50 gal. The preflowers on the OG Kush so far are simply leaves. Has anyone else seen this? No pistols or pollen balls. It's just small set of leaves.

Update. I did find preflower pistols on the OG Kush. It was one near the top. Maybe the preflower leaves are immature female preflowers.

I think those preflower leaves are just regular leaves. The plant just wasn't mature enough to grow preflowers then. BTW both plants are looking good. over 6' tall and 3' 3" now on day 112
