Candy Cane - still dropping leaves, not sure if it needs more food, or maybe a salt build up, or pH issues...just not sure
The cola is getting so heavy that is was leaning really bad, so rigged up a bamboo pole taped to the outside of the 2 litre pop bottle

Dwarf Low Flyer - same issues as above

Jack Herer - looking great, but is way behind the other two

The DLF looks to be the easiest trim ever. All 3 seem to be still throwing out new hairs, are the DLF or CC close to being done?

hey Watts
yeah they were shedding leaves like crazy, I was thinking pH but it was just not enough food, so I have started feeding daily and they have stopped the self-cannibalization...too bad I didn't figure it out sooner, but they will be easy to trim

yes, all three are still pushing out new hairs, so my guess is the DLF & CC will need at least another 2 weeks....as for the Jack H, that one is slow but is very healthy, as it has all its leaves with no issues at all, but will need another month or so to finish.

the Candy Cane is getting fat, needed to support several of the lower branches as they were hanging rather low

As @WattSaver mentioned....it's still putting out hairs

and the miss-fit winter sunshine gal.....this plant has stalled and is doing nothing, doesn't even seem to be consuming the water/nutes, I'm guessing it will devolop root rot soon.....I'm ready to throw in the towel on this plant and admit one cannot grow a winter sunshine gal in Canada

the Candy Cane is fox-tailing like crazy, but it still bulking up..... lots of new growth
P6250007.JPG

the DLF is near ready to chop....not much left for leaves, thus can't see keeping it going much longer
P6250004.JPG

the Jack Herer is looking good, progressing slowly but doing well
P6250002.JPG

then the winter sunshine gal.....this plant is just doing nothing, barely drinks, so little to nil progress....I'll likely chop it when harvesting the DLF

How are the trichromes looking now?
almost all milky, can't see any amber yet, so it's not really ready, but yet I'm still considering taking down the DLF, as there ain't much left for leaves.

the DLF only requires 7 weeks (as per the breeder) and is currently at 8 weeks, so I know it is close.

the CC will need another 2 weeks or so....Jack Herer is a ways away

The Candy Cane is doing well but still no signs of amber trichromes, so again I'll say 2 more weeks

The Jack Herer is coming along...it may finish about the same time as the CC

The winter sunshine gal is finally starting to get some amber trichromes....it's been in flower for 15 weeks (started pre-flowering on March 25th)

@ISK I can't believe you kept a plant alive in a solo cup for 20wks. I know I would have killed it long before that. I know you've grown the Candy Cane before, did any of those take this long to finish? I've had a few plants that wouldn't throw out any amber, I've always been in the mind of, if there are no clear trichs it's time to cut. I do prefer the brighter side of the buzz though.

the solo cup gal should have been terminated months ago, but it's been my pet-project, just for the fun of it
below is the link to the start of her life,,. these seeds came from a hermie which were not auto-fem's thus just can't compare to the Candy Cane.

It's now to the point of being abusive...poor gal should have been put down months ago, but yet I prolong her miserable life for no good reason, other than I'm truly evil. I still move her to the dark room every night, so she's high maintenance but it's now an obsession to get this gal to finish

Hell of a pet project, I did read the solo cup run, but not in real time. I'll give it my best to follow to the end here. And against all odds the winter solo may end up being the best bud in the batch despite it's life.

All these Crop King auto-fem's have been prone to fox-tailing, but this Candy Cane takes the cake....the fox-tails are still immature but the older growth is looking good....may consider chopping by next weekend

P7160010.JPG

Jack Herer is doing okay....seen a slight bit of powdery mildew, so I gave it spray down of water/baking soda/soap/olive oil....think I got it in time.
It's been rather muggy here and the wind dies down at night, so I think that was the issue to trigger the PM
P7160002.JPG

and last but not least, the winter sunshine gal...still doing not much of anything

It's got to be time to chop the winter girl, I mean the only thing else it could possibly do is hermie. The others look really good and have to be near chop time. I'm guessing you're near 80 days since planting? I'm in the process of ordering some seeds and I keep looking at the autos, because of the time frames. But I'm sure the order will be regs. I really want to grow some Grand Daddy Purple. It was Moe's demise so I have to grow something with that much stank.

LOL....in fact I chopped the winter gal and the Candy Cane yesterday....will give Jack Herer another week

I'm dealing with rather limited sunshine, as such these auto take at least 90 to 120 days. The DLF was 97 days and the CC was 119, this is rather normal for my situation.

IMO...auto's are really only good for outdoor/sunshine grows, as they allow flowering to start so much sooner, but indoors/HID I'll stick with photo's

Yeah, sure do miss Moe, I hope he's still in the game
