That would be a very easy target to reach...
Then I will be surprised!
I guess I better start prepping the bed in February...maybe shoot for an April (4/20? ) or May planting. I believe that would be adequate time to develop a decent SCROG. I don't think growing a tree would be wise for my area.
Since I already do a Super-Soil for the veggies, I won't have to change the mix too much
I'm going to have to track down some PVC and poly, though. I can't imagine the risk of naked plants to Sept. rains out here.

More than a qp outdoors is unlikely? Are you talking about cannabis?

Yah...like I said, back in the 90s, the general rule of thumb among people I knew in BC (i.e. the GVRD) was that getting more than a QP was unlikely. So I never gave it another thought since then.
Times change though along with evidence... ;)

I have relatives that grew 12'ers in the 70's, pretty sure they had over a qp on em.

Not sure where You’re located but don’t put any plants out in April or May because they will start to bud and then they will refer back to veg. Not a good idea.

Duly noted... That'll give me more time to prepare, and is closer to legalization anyway. I get the rest of my garden ready around then, though, so I'm just used to being out there already

I basically feed my soil....not my plants if that makes any sense...the microbes and bacteria present in a living soil .... thrive ,live their lives ..
./love/eat /poop/die/ etc etc... by the millions... the by - product of their lives is ....exactly the nutrients in usable qty's that a plant like MJ needs
to thrive, grow to big healthy proportions and strong enough to hold itself up when full of buds but to a point....
and that's where we come in... with additional structural support for the plant to refrain from dropping 1/4 lb branch's worth of medication.

Perfect sense as that’s the medium of growing I found easiest bonus is it’s organic as well.
No till is the future or should be IMO.

I have been seeing some video's of fresh compost everything you can compost from your daily lives ...blended in a blender ...to a liquid consistency and its then just added to the rows of plants
similar to watering... only more of a slurry...
This dutch fellows plants (Vegi's ) are absolutely amazing.
I don't get out too much...but that would be fun...

Fair enough lol.
I don’t get out much either. Pics will do lol.
The only thing I add to my water to help feed the soil is Popcorn kernels Know of it?
Sorry I also add molasses and brown sugar during bud.

Hats off to cannadan. That’s the way we should all be growing in 2018..
Very inspiring. Keep up the great work.
lol i'm actually half ass-ing it at the moment in a grow room I am trying to build.. (finish) in a really decent space...and I have not been too concerned with the plants and what they want...but more with getting my degenerated spine to try and do the work.
sorta constantly moving forward... just very slowly lol

I fully hear ya. My plants are neglected at the moment as well and have great space a tables waiting but being ill is being ill so it takes a little more time to get things done. I’m sure u have enough meds to last like I which isn’t helping my motivation to much to get my indoor up and going .

both of those sugars add a quick boost of energy to the living soil...and it shows in the end result,.with chunky and quite dense bud...
i have used molasses too.and still do with some strains...
.. and used to blend some tea's with bat guano...but found a good compost really doesn't need the extra nutrients anyways...
and keeping it simple works best.
