2019 Winter Indoor Grow

There is defiantly something off in your grow,
If I had to guess without seeing it first hand I would say several things are probably wrong with your grow,
It is difficult to grow unless the conditions are dialed in.
Light, air rotation and air changeover , temperature of the room , both lights on and lights off temperature and humidity levels.
Next comes PH of the soil or media you are growing in. This is super critical because if it's not correct the plant can not uptake the nutrients it needs and wants. You are having several of these problems going on at one time. You need to take each of these problems and address each one , one at a time until all of these problems get solved.
I show very few of my pictures of my grows over the years, a friend of mine recently asked why in the past I always showed my room and equipment more then I showed my plants, my answer is on indoor marijuana growing it is the room that grows the plant. The plant can not live and succeed without the proper room and conditions set
agree...there is something wrong but I can't get a handle on it.....so many different factors this grow...using a 315 CMH for the first time.....my room temps were very low at night.

seems it was doing great, then took a dive.

I'm using the same style of growing (hempy in perlite) and the same Maxi-Bloom with Cal-Mag, and pH the same, so unlikely those are the issue

oh well...just a few more weeks to go then I'll harvest

Hey ISK, you really have some slow finisher's here. I saw the start date of 2/22 & I figured the girls would be finished by now. Any cloudy trichomes? Well it looks like another solid winter grow. Do you plan to do a summer sunshine grow this yr? Well hopefully these girls finish soon.

Hey Watts..... you are right they have been slow out of the gate, even worse than you would think

They germinated on Jan 10th but I was unsure if I would be able to continue due to a personal situation, so I just left them under the CFL's

The room was cold, so they never did well even with the lights on 24/day.

Then I had an accident and broke my arm so was unable to set-up the tent and 315 CMH until Feb 22

Then again we had an extra cold winter, as such the temps again were too low, in retrospect I should have used my 600 watt HPS

So they should have been ready to harvest by early to mid May, but they are behind schedule

They just haven't done much for 3 weeks now other than drop leaves, but I'm thinking no more than 2 weeks, as I'm just starting to see some amber

I don't think I'll do a indoor sunshine grow this year, as I'm using the area for my herbs and some garden vegetables.

Besides, I still have 2 jars of pot from last year's grow, so my consumption rate is slowing down in my old age :)

Anyhow...good to hear from you...what are your grow plans for this year?

I've got a 3 plant scrog going this round. I've got a Bubblegum, Strawberry Sequoia, and a Super Silver Haze which is in the rear of the screen since it should take at least 2 more weeks of flower. Don't know if I'll try to get another grow in this calendar yr. I want the room shut down for December while I'm on vacation.

June 1..... chop day

This was Green Crack 2 - shorter and fatter than the other

Hung them up in the grow tent....only the 110 CFM bathroom fan is on, as the others are too powerful for a dry tent

the carnage - will use these for hash and/or oil

some root porn @WattSaver - these roots may look good but they are not as solid as previous grows

So, all in all this grow does not appear to be as good as last year's Green Crack twins which yielded 360 grams.

I may be wrong but my guess is this year's crop will be a lower yield, as the buds are not as dense and full.

Oh well....next year I'll go back to the 600 watt HPS

Thanks Spud....I'm sure they will be okay but I had higher hopes for the 315 CMH....but on the other hand there was factors that inhibited the grow.

Funny thing is a major advantage of the 315 CMH is less heat....but in my case I need the heat as the room has an open window for exhaust and we had a cold winter so the temps were always low, like around the lower 70's

I would use the 315 CMH again for a summer grow, but will use the 600 watt HPS for winter grows

Cheers...thanks for following along again :)

The gals are in Mason jars now, 7 jars for each plant.

As predicted, my haul is less than last year's 360 grams

GC1 was 151 grams...... GC2 was 136 grams...... total 287 grams
