I just placed an order on rareseeds.com (baker creek heirloom), and you're totally right, probably 80% of their lettuce seeds are sold out alone-people are still in pandemic urban homesteader mode. The fruit tree nurseries are also sold/selling out, I was lucky to get my tree order in early this year. I'm glad you guys reminded me, I would have forgotten to do this until Feb/March then would have been SOL.Hell with the books people better get ordering now for spring, most everything i just ordered are on back order everything sold out dont wait this yr folks.
I have my subterranean solar seedling chamber in use already. I've done a few seeds of several varieties, but since I have almost pound of Homestead seeds, I have way more of them than anything else. I guess it's been five or six years now, but Mamma ran over to the Co-Op for a dollar's worth of squash seed and came home with a large trash bag full of free seeds. So if you ever need any tomato, or pumpkin, or collard seeds. . . . . .
For a dollar and a quarter now. I've got a few from there over the years myself.I get most of mys seeds from the dollar tree. Non GMO, and four packs for a dollar. Who can beat that!
