I use Monterey B.t. and apply it with a standard one gallon pump sprayer. Fill the sprayer halfway, dump 4 teaspoons of B.t. in, fill the sprayer up, shake, pump and spray.

I have a quart hand sprayer as well that is OK on smaller plants, but I’m not about to use that on 15 footers lol
Well I ain’t got no 15’ lol... yet!, more like 7’ this year (do you by chance get vertigo when your doing your cola checks? Lol), but I get it. I did pick up a (1) gallon sprayer. Appreciate the ratio mix, that details it down to where hell even I can't screw it up! Lol :hump: Thank you kind Sir!

Thanks Kerowacked! Again, your insight is very much appreciated. I’m sure I would’ve just been out there slopping that BT spray aimlessly with no facial protection. No joke! I picked up some Monterey BT concentrate. Washing is foreign for my indoor history, but that was my fear... spraying and smoking. Definitely had me thinking. Do you have a wash routine that you feel gets the job done? I did cut out the affected areas but didn’t cut the whole cola above the rot yet btw...
I rinse in a tote full of water, swish the plant gently then hang like normal to dry. You can also prewash in diluted peroxide or lemon juice and baking soda, then rinse.

Just curious but do you guys find it more effective to spray a single product than a mix or just how you do it. In the beginning i used to do it that way but I was spray every other day. Oh btw 4 DRY DAYS IN A ROW COMING! LET'S GO!! lol

I alternate neem oil and spinosad when i feel like it and the wind is calm then switch to btk in early flower.

When you hang them to dry, after a couple days they start escaping. If you backlight the buds with a flashlight then its easy to see any baby ones hanging down.
What? I’m again enlightened! Lol :wall:I know I’m taking you out of context a bit, but what exactly are you referring to as “they”? (“They start escaping”)... you means those miserable scrunch of a millimeter will show their sorry bud eating, dream killing babies for exit?? Lol :D

Bic lighter to brighten their descent:fire:

I am not seeing nearly the bud growth as what I’m seeing in some of these pics, still very happy with my first outdoor grow. Started these from seed at the beginning of July and they’re now about 4 feet tall. I am on the cape and have two gelato 33 and 2 critical mass. Have not sprayed with preventatives and appreciate feedback with this being my first attempt at an outdoor grow. Not looking bad at all especially a first. And ya anyone running more than one strain is going to have plants that are ahead, behind and or somewhere in between. Always a gamble here IMO.
pay attention to the strains that are ahead lol
Also this far into season without preventatives without issues makes you a lucky lucky guy

Why do I feel close to that... I got (4) different strains going. MMS (Prayer Pupil), Ethos (White Wedding), DNA Genetics (Holy Grail) and (Barney’s Farm) Runtz Muffin. White Wedding is displaying Sativa traits (though advertised as indica strong)... and is really a week or maybe even two behind the others. Hoping I’m not dragged into a “please Mother Nature experience” with that strain in late October. BT arriving tomorrow for immediate application. :!:

If your growing for personal smoke it's not always a good thing to have 8ft x 8ft plants with coke bottle cola's a lot of bud rot can ruin those big fat cola's and they only look good in a picture.

I find way to much vegetation to trichome production for me is of putting unless your making oils or edibles which in my honest opinion is all you should be doing with outdoors to begin with but not everyone has the indoor space i get it ! Just saying sometimes bigger isn't always better .

I much prefer my outdoor to almost all the indoor I’ve come across, especially dispensary. It’s just a better quality with respect to effect/potency/longevity.

Everyone is in such a rush to chop to market, they almost NEVER let the plants mature enough imo. Sure indoor looks “better” but IDC about that. Not saying all indoor is like that, but that’s been my experience.
