2023 Massachusetts Outdoor Growers

When dad's away the Conibear will play. Set this in a borrow going under my shed.


I have 4 GMO going in Berger BM6 and will run Jack's 321 start to finish again. I'm gonna move them into 15 gallon bags and set up the automated
drip rings and reservoir in the next week or so.

For the first time I'm trying some air layering on a few of the lower branches that are starting to lean over, instead of cutting them off.

Plants finally starting to look like they are kicking into gear. But what they’d really like is less cloudy weather. Mazar-I-Sharif Afghani, Panjshiri Afghani, Dakshinkali Nepali Himalaya and Rasoli Indian Himalaya in that order. They all seem to be nitrogen whores and a couple want Cal-Mag too. Hope everyone else’s grows are kicking ass -

I thinned out the plants today. Probably removed almost half of the foliage and opened them up real well. I wanted to ease up on the watering requirements and let them breath. The inner growth wasn't doing anything and some spots of mold where starting to form.

The spider mites started to show as usual, so I did my first DE, Neem spray over the entire plants.
 
Ethos Crescendo RBX1… put in 20 gallon containers on June 15th from their previously kept 1 gallon pots. Tallest is 41” and they’ve all been topped twice for 4 cola ladies. (I typically do 8 but changed it up this year to see if supporting their base trunk might be easier) So far so good on their health, had a slight issue with some minor bug issues early given how long I left them outside in their 1 gallon pots (June 1st-June15th) but they’ve recovered pretty nicely. Just need some consistent Sun now! :D

This year is a rough start, but getting better.

I picked up my pots and found some japanese beetle grubs. I called around and everywhere's sold out of pyrethrins. I'm guessing the rains created the perfect environment for pests? I can't remember seeing the shelves this bare before but I didn't get much for pests last year. I sprinkled some DE on so hopefully it can work its magic in between rains.

Here's some of last year's yummiest. Came from (back in the day) Mass Medical Star Pupil parentage. Then became Putang. Yea, she looks as good as she smokes. Gonna be doing
some testing for Breeders & companies this year, which I hope adds to my resume as I'm beginning to form my own brand.

Cannabis Control Commission Feb 15th, via zoom, and I will be attending. It appears one can get a license for $100 for up to 5000 square feet.
I'm going to plead my case as such: you want to clear out the black market then give us little guys options. Because we can pay taxes too. All I'd like to do is grow some plants and create my own strains and offer the seeds to the regular people that can't afford dispensary prices. Right now I donate most of my medicine to those with medical issues. Cancer, anxiety, depression. There should be a way to help people, employ people when necessary, and contribute to my grandkids college fund, becom a contributing member of society, all the while paying taxes that contribute to the state.

That's kinda my pitch in a nutshell.
It's really kind of a Grey area in Mass, but if I can get my foot in the door....

I'm on the same page I have been looking for a strong voice and allow homeowners access to the medical benefits of a natural flower and allow people to learn Botany and lovingbthe earth and and its something special growing plants and having a home garden and ability for peaoplento get info
