cfl, probably none, one of the many hundred int here will probably cause an electrical fire, not to mention 2200 watts is over the load permissible on a 15 amp circuit.

OP has already admitted to having used the exaggerated wattage measure. 33k lumens from over 700 watts is poor use of electricity imo. cn

A 400w HPS is usually 50-55k lumen.
ok thanks man, was just reading up on it. says a 400 can light up a 16 sq ft area. i should be at 15 sq ft right?

and also my plants are like 4 n 5 ft tall would a 400 penetrate to the lower branches?

I grow with CFL's and my last harvest was a tad over 40z from three plants under 750 actual watts. Now that you know where I'm coming from I have to say your plan is overly ambitious. That's just too many fucking bulbs and they will produce heat a lot with that many therefore my advice would be to go hps or cut down on the number of plants you want to grow.

Bullshit. 1100+ grams of bud from 750 watts?

Well there is sure a lot of wrong info on CFLs, heat well I use over 2000 watts of CFLs that's true watts not equivalent,, I have a 10-10 area heat is never ever a issue but I'm at 9200 feet, with a window open with fresh air all the time.. You can run a 250 watt CFL, and still touch the bulb, its not that hot + the penetration is great on these huge bulbs,, Look at my very bottom branch over 30 inches long and thriving... There is 7 branches at the very bottom and doing great,, The plant is 5 feet tall and 6 feet wide,, Just with great soil,,,

now I do use 45 watt LEDs also,, and it did cost me over 200 bucks just to cover this one tree, with CFLs, Its a Sativa so it takes for ever to fully flower,, It just seem funny that so many people don't know that it is easy to get a hard dank buds, using 250true watt CFLs, my power bill is only 15 bucks a month more running these lights 12-12

The OP needs to get high watt CFLs if he wants that type of yield, You can easy to get a gram a watt of top meds, is you spend the money on the right CFLs. But like every thing it comes down to money,, But the great thing is these lights are easy to move around so you can hit every area of your grow,, and if set up right heat is NEVER a issue..

To the OP never talk equivalent to growers on this board,, talk true watts, then they will help all they can.

Also if I ever could afford it, I think having CFLs LEDs and HPS all mixed together. would be a great way to grow,, But right now my broke ass as to just use LEDs and 250 watt CFLs to grow..

They say a picture us worth a thousand words so here they are,,
