22cm x 35cm x 51cm 80w cfl grow

I could be wrong but i think the clones have started to take root! I read somewhere that to test i should take them out of their humidity dome and leave them out to see for wilting after about 20min, and safe to say there was none :)

Im also not sure but i think the middle one (day 9, the outside two are on day 8 since being cloned) has actually started growing slightly...

So, curiosity overtook the better of me yesterday when i noticed the coco i put the clones in drying out quicker than usual... So i gently popped out the clones to check for roots and noticed 4 along the side of the container for the oldest clone, and two each on the younger ones (12 days since cloning and 11 days since, respectively). So i transplanted the biggest in the grow pot im using, and the younger two into small pots and now have them all under 2x 20w 6500k cfls at around 30cm above the plants. They look happy today however one of the young clones didnt enjoy the transplant as much, im thinking they were still a bit immature, but time will tell i guess :)

Oh and those lil outdoor babies i posted a few updates back, ive just noticed the best one has gone hermie :(

Meaning one of the two youngest clones is also likely to do the same... Luckily i chose the oldest to run with. I also added a scrog screen to the box today in an attempt to make use of as much of this space as possible :) it should be interesting to see... Anybody got any ideas how long i should wait before cranking the light on this clone? Its 13 days old and was put into the pot yesterday :)

Looks like a fun little grow.
I would get the light to them ASAP.
Are you going to top them?
Is this outdoor strain a tall or short strain?
Gonna need some sort of topping or mainlining to keep em short & bushy.

Cheers mate im finding it quite enjoyable to play with, even though my past plant was male lol. I dropped the lights down to just above the plastic mesh a few hours after i posted my last update, and it seems happier for it. Im going to let it get a little taller then top or FIM it and spread it under the plastic mesh as a nig of a scrog setup, although im wondering if in this space it might be nothing more than a bit of extra support for bud sites... This plant has been maybe mid-height in previous grows outdoors, a full season resulting in aproximately a 100 - 140cm plant when finished. It seems to stretch maybe 1/4 of total height, and doesnt seem to continue stretching much beyond the first 2 weeks of flower :)

It will be the last time i play with these seeds however, this year we got a lot of hermies from them so im thinking an indica dominant strain like Blueberry next

Hey guys, no real updates here other than it got a little nute burn by the looks of it... im attributing this to the low dosage seasol foliar spray i gave it the day before yesterday... got a few pics though :)

Gave her a light watering via a spray bottle today... and got a tiny bit more burn along the edges of some of the fan leaves - so im thinking the soil mix is a bit rich for the plant yet... would a heavy "flush" with plain water next watering help at all do you guys think? Soil was made up of potting mix, tomato mix, perlite and shredded sheep manure in a 6:1:4:1 ratio respectively.

Hey all, the girl got a trim the other day, and i must say it already smells very fruity :) Its starting to grow again after being topped, and the burn seems to have stopped now thankfully. Ive noticed the leaves are always folded upwards at the edges towards the light, sometimes quite steeply, is that normal? otherwise the leaves look healthy other than the minor burn. I removed the plastic screen from the box too, as it didnt allow me to get the lights as close as i like...

Anyway, pic time... The first two are from the 22nd, and the others are from tonight :)

Could be heat stress. Mine were/are doing the same thing, except my temps were 91/93 . I'm not certain that, that is the problem you are having, but I have the same symptoms and know that the temps are too hot for mine.

Hey man, thanks for your response. That makes sense actually as i think it only really began once I lowered the lights down... the temps havent been too bad - between 25deg celcius and 30deg celcius, but im thinking this one is a little more sensitive than the last (also more sativa dominant i think). I might raise that light up a bit and see how it copes.

Hey all, I raised the lights about an inch after the last update and while the leaves still cup upwards a little theyre much better. I pinned the two top shoots out horizontally this morning and theyre already showing signs of growth since then haha. Im thinking i will pin the two top growths and the two bottom growths straight out horizontally, and then top them all once theyre about an inch longer than they are now. I figure filling out as much horizontal space as possible is going the most important factor with this setup.

Small update today as im on nights, and between sleep and easter celebrations i didnt get much of a chance to check her out... but i must say since pinning those two branches out it has taken off growth wise, hopefully it reaches the vigor the last plant had in there... it got a light trim after this pic, to give more light to the lower two branches so i can pin them out horizontally soon :)

Hey guys and gals,

I'm thinking of tipping all four of the horizontal growths on the little girl tonight... that will give me 8 main budsites which i think should fill the little cab pretty nicely. Growth has been going well, got a lil nute burn again but nothing major...

Pre and post tipping

Hey guys and girls, sorry for the big gap between updates...

Things have come quite a way now, the lil girl seems to be doing well, but stretched a shitload so ive had an interesting time contorting and pinning it down lol. Im really hoping the stretch stops now... lol

Now some growth pics :)
That was probably the most severe topping I have ever seen. And you didn't know the sex. Let the plant grow, especially from seed. They have stronger genetics but need to be babied. No pruning at all until you know its sex. Otherwise the plant could become to stressed and stunt its growth or worse herm.

this looks fun mate!

what r u doing for smells in there? couldnt tell if u had a filter of some sort rigged up?

Hey Doogan, Yeah the topping was pretty drastic, especially on that first round. I was under the impression that these seeds were feminised hence why I dove straight into it. Growing in a box this size requires early pruning and training so as to control the height and create an even canopy.

Cheers dionysus4, its been a good fun little grow, especially now thats its budding :) I have done absolutely nothing for the smell with this setup, im lucky its located in a place that the only people anywhere near it know about it, and have no issues with it whatsoever, so its not something ive needed to bother with luckily

Hey all,

Not much news really, gave her a little trim today as i rotate her daily because the light spread is pretty uneven and the leaves kept growing into the pc fan lol. Plenty of bud sites have popped up, and its starting to frost a little... i cant wait to see how she turns out :D

Pics as always...
