24-8-16 Miracle Grow Fertlizer??

Can i use 24-8-16 for my fertilizer at 2/4 the dosage until veg stage.
If not wants some cheap stuff I can get at lowes or walmart etc.

ok, any reason why tho, is there bad chemicals in it. And do you no any cheap fertilizer I can buy at a local store?

I have used that stuff before all the way through the grow and it worked fine.
Home depot is stocks all sorts of stuff that is inexpensive and works great

I used it also and my I had great results!

miracle grow is fine it just doesn't flush good.alot of salts creates harsh smoke.

I have a bit of a background in nutrients, and that MG should be fine. Just make sure you are using it in only soil, it should give OK results. Nothing toxic in it People who want to 'maximize' their grows may get better performance out of a cannabis specific noot, but if you are a good grower with a good soil mix the MG should get the job done.

What are some good , cheap soil mixes that I can buy at a local store. I have miracle grow soil but figure that wont be to good?, even if I wait 2 weeks to put my babies in there.

MG is just fine.. Of course roots organic and shit is better.

i would much rather use a organic soil with no nutes and add my own than miracle grows soils that are full of their chemicals

OK sounds great! Whats a good type of organic soil that I can buy in bulk at a local store (menards,lowes, walmart , etc)
Then I can use my miracle grow fertilizer to lightly feed the organic soil, plant

check the outdoor section, they have some good recipes that I personally don't know much about (organics)

ur not gonna find much at those stores, the best stuff they got probably is the MG soil, i used both the soil and nutes on last years outdoor and did very well. if u want some decent soil see if theres a hydro shop in your area. everyone is gonna tell u to get fox farms farms soil, which isnt bad stuff, but its pricey if u need to use a good amount of soil, im currently using pro mix on this years grow which is working out well so far

My 65 year old neighbor uses MG Moisture Control (my recomendation).
He grows dank and never adds any extra nutes. The weed comes out great.
He vegs in one gallons and uppots them in a yellow five gallon kitty litter bucket filled with MG and leaves them alone till harvest.

I add stuff to roots and mix SS and add stuff during flower and get the same results. He actually has fatter nugs but he has more light then I do.

i second that. promix is best also baccto soil is cheaper and about the same

you would be surprised at the results m/g can give i sure was NITROGEN,PHOSPHOROUS,POTASSIUM &SOME TRACE MINERALS get-r-done!!!

maybe you should try a better soil, before saying mg soil is good.it's not and foxfarm isn't the best either unless mixed with another soil.promix don't have nutes so you start at a zero base line
if somthing goes wrong it's an easier fix

Much love folks, Ill pick up some soil at the store with no nutrients and add them as I go. But I will also be using MG soil with other plants. So now I will see the differences in the plants and what not.
Ill let you guys know how there doing throughout the grow. Maybe a grow journal

My two favorite soils are Kellogg's Patio Plus at $5 a bag and Scott's Super Soil at $7 a bag. I've also tested Fox Farm and Roots Organic and while I think these are very good potting mixes, the end results are about the same with what I get with Kellogg's products. It makes it really hard to justify $30 a bag of Roots Organic when the $5 Kellogg bag produces the same results.

As far as organic fertilizers go, I really like Alaska's Fish Emulsion and MorBloom. I also love to use Kellogg's Organic All Purpose Fertilizer ($5 a bag) and I have really good success with it. I make my teas by mixing 1 cup of Kellogg's All Purpose Fertilizer with five gallons of tap water. I let it sit in the sun for a good 15 min and stir it up really good. Then I pour it over my plants in the garden. I never pH and I never really run into any nutrient problems like I do with synthetics or hydroponic products.

For years I've been using organics in the ground and synthetics in pots. The plants grown in pots do grow a little faster, but I usually run into small problems here and there, so the end results are roughly about the same. A slight edge goes to synthetics but organics feel more pure and IDK, I feel like this way how they were meant to grow. And its so much easier too. 2-3 applications of fertilizer a year and that's it. With containers I have to feed once a week and just about anything, even a heavy rain, can cause problems.
