As long as you don't over water, it's fine. Cannabis likes frequent wet/dry cycles in the soil. More frequent, lighter, watering is better than drenching it once a week. Water around the outside of the drip line to make the plant put out more roots.I read you shouldn’t put a small plant in a big container.. because of the watering and oxygen or something.itll be okay if i plant my teeny tiny plant in a bucket?
OP - just throw a dart and read one whole book/bible. They all have their pros and cons and fans.
Get an educational book on general horticulture and learn to grow with that. Then get the cannabis books once you understand the basics and can use species specific information. If you are the type of person who likes to learn a lot about something that you do, then I highly recommend getting a Cannabis grow book/bible (there are lots to choose from) and read it cover to cover. It won't have all the answers and it will contain a lot of info you don't necessarily need right now, but it'll stay in your head and create a great foundation. This helps prevent rookie mistakes.
You should check out the newbie forum, you can answer many of your questions there as well. I strongly encourage you to get a bible/book as well, knowledge is power.![]()
I do love to read so this is a great idea.Get an educational book on general horticulture and learn to grow with that. Then get the cannabis books once you understand the basics and can use species specific information.
Care to explain this acronym?SJW's everywhere.
If you do this, then you need to water VERY conservatively, just around the stem, until the plants are bigger. If you water all the soil really well, the plant can't use it all and the soil remains soaked and suffocates the plant. Rookie mistakes!

Don't over think it, they're just annual herbs, not some alien plant. Bucket, good soil+ extra perlite, supplemental fertilizer (I recommend fish fert ), water. Get a tomato cage to hold up your giant colas.
Wowww that link is unreal. The things I’m learning from you guys sheesh
