240v converter

So if I got one of these and installed it, I could essentially have two grow rooms for the utility costs of one? Are these that good to be true? Anybody use these, are they easy to install?

Sorry, too good to be true. Running at 240 V will only reduce the amp draw on each leg of the system. The total amp draw at the meter will remain the same therefore the actual wattage you will be charged for, remains the same.

Very true droopy107. 240V lines are 2 120V lines. But the amps draw is the same.

Sometimes running 220-240V to a room is a good thing. It can be used for duels to lessen amp draw on 1 particular line running back to your service box.
