thinking about topping this little beasty should i wait or top now. want to give it her best chance and making an even canopy before you say she has thrips no she doesnt maybe the precvious owner had a case of em but none on here to be found already sprayed her down

Some peeps wait till 4-5nodes up......me i would top and leave 2 nodes then let her go and keep topping and PINCHING as she grows.......couple of weeks and a good cannopy will develop........

all depends on your expectations.
some would say now is the perfect time
while others would say not.
I never top unless my plants are hitting my veg lights

Top @ 3, 4 ,5 etc. That is up to you. Consider what technic you want to use, strain and environment.
I like to top at 3rd node, Clone off the topped. Then LST and FIM the hell out of her during Veg, before flowering. :peace:

ended up topping the highest node along with some lst transplanted less than 7 days ago n roots are going apeshit already filling her party cup shes loving it really fast responder to the lst

Get the solo cup light proofed John roots will DIE if sunlight penetrates. ........top the top node off a let the outher 2 grow and then tie both stems down when big enuff.....this is imo the best start a plant can have....,..

ill take more photos when im home theres a node in the photos that spltis off from the cut fan leaves do you think i should also top or just the highest one to allow for thenlower ones to catch up
