Hypothetical situation.
Room 1: 8x8x14 sealed.
3- 1000w HPS 6" vented hoods
CO2 at 600ppm when the lights are on
74 degrees 50% humidity
15k btu ac
42 plants 3 strains... This is the problem with this room...
The grand daddy purple have alot of trouble with turning yellow. I have flushed the heck out of them, originally she had fertilized the water after balancing the PH and it probably locked the roots.
The Cheese and Afghani kush are growing pretty well...
Like I said, I've never harvested a plant I grew from the ground up. I am learning alot about nutrients and how much is too much and too little.
Room 2........... 8x24x24 12/12 room w/ 8x8x24 24 hour light room attached.
The same model of 15k btu AC
4- 1000w hps 8" ducted hoods (need 8 more lights I think.)
24 black trays for the ebb'n'flo system I have to make, which I've never done before. I made 1 table with 4 trays and a 27 gal. res. I didn't want to have 1 pump foul and kill everything. This is a No-Fail Op.
There are clones from 10 mother plants in 4 trays under 1 light
batch 1 is 3 weeks old and batch 2 is only 1 week old. The second batch looks very pretty, dark leaves, good looking children. I was just spraying them all the time with a 2.5ml to 500ml clonex , then i decided to flush them, which seemed to help alot..
I put the small rockwool cubes directly into the hydroton balls, in the black trays that I irrigated to the reservoir. The water hits about 1/2" of the bottom of the cube, seems to work pretty well.
I will have to take photos of the lighting to see if it is sufficient
Is the yellowing of the leaves of the older babies who didn't root so well, going to be a problem in the future ? Is a stressed clone going to have a bad taste, seeds, any deformity?
I think only the cheese is going to grow in the big room, since it grew so well so far.
I really need help as this progresses, Her mother has cancer and she is growing some pot so she doesn't have to buy it from her medical dispensary. She asked me for advise. and to build a room.
She asks me how much she will get from 30 grand daddy purple vegged for 8 weeks, they've been flowering for 1 week and the buds are forming quickly. She is concerned about them growing too dense together and problems from that... lack of light, mold, etc. The humidity has been taken care of. What is the aprox. yield from 30? any idea? .. *there is also 12 Cheese which are 36" tall each*
There is a lot of work to be done on the large room still to make it completely efficient. I'd love to hear suggestions that I've not been able to find on the forum already!
