250 watt HPS indoor grow 4x House Kush Plants

Whats up guys, just planted 4 of my legal 6 one week from today and i have decided why the hell not, lets document this grow. So here it is and here it begins, i started with a series of bag seeds (medium grade weed, not close to top shelf which s why im trying my first indoor with em) from a dispensary here and plan to grow four by the end of it all. I threw seven seeds in 6 gal pots, one in each for 3 of em and 4 in the last pot so if i get males and catch em early enough i could chop em and have hopefully one for each pot but you never know, i could end up with one for all i know (knock on wood). i have two extra pots in which i will start two clones of some fire here from a dispensary and have those as my second indoor as my first goes on. Right now i am flowering the 4 pots under 2 Plant and aquarium t 12s, and two cool daylight t 12 tubes (one of each for each two plants pics coming tomorrow). After veg i will move to a 250 watt mh for the ending week or two of veg and run 250 watt hps for the rest of the grow. My space is around 5x 2.5x 6 and is a very cool closet so temps will be okay especially once the hps is running it will be perfect. I have a fan goin on the plants now and have another two for once hps is running. Also as far as ventilation goes, the closet has sliding doors allowing for me to blow hot air OUT of the room and out of my balcony door. Havent even started nutes as ocean forest can get me through the first 3 weeks easy with all of the nutes in it (only used fox farm for all of my outdoor grows in the past) but once the time comes ill be runnin fox farm trio as it is my go to. Watering right now is about every 2.5 to 3 days and seems to be perfect. I hope to get a good yield from my four and put alot of time (flowering especially) and effort into the 2 clones (to come) and really get some good product here in a few months. Side note: any ideas on good clones to run are welcome!

any strains you reccomend from previous grows. like i said, yield isnt a huge concern for my two top shelf grade plants, just want to grow them long and beautifully. i was thinking of going with Lucid Dream (F-15 Afghan x Grape Ape) and Gods Gift for my two clones. This service has really good genetics supposedly so we shall see.

Ah well if you want some good genes go for G13, they are beautiful refined genetics, any of them are great, I swear by them, some would advise you otherwise some have the tendency to hermie (not a big deal its just one little node not widespread all over buds ). But I was roped in by the blueberry gum, and I've always bought G13 since .

i hope to get to the point where i am crossing my own strains. so i take it you liked your experience with a big bud strain? they all intrigue me but everyone always says theyre mediocre. i think it would be an excellent crossing strain simply for yielding capabilities as you said.

Big bud is a hit and miss, only some of the plants will get really really big buds, those are the ones you want to make seeds from. Maybe onl 1 out of 2(or 3) will swell massive with buds. Thats my experience anyway, but those are the genos you want and the genos you cross. Other strains being mixed is just for taste you know . Although the gigabud is a consistant yielder.

gigabud? not familiar with it. who originally breeds it?

Their watering schedule has been around once evey 2.5 or 3 days. Ive noticed by letting them get almost bone dry then watering them, they seem to thrive much more that way. for reference: those are 6 gal pots and are going to be very nice for some deep roots and for maximizing the height of my grow space. As previously stated, veggin under t12s 18/6 for a week now and theyre comin along nicely. CONMAN

What germ method did you use for these plants, presoak and stuck into soil?

i paper towel germinated my seeds. They took a few days just to crack but all of em germinated just fine.

dont know why i hit send. but ya i germinated for around 5 days, stuck em in that ocean forest, and they ate that stuff up. i will have to measure their height for reference but at least 2.5-3 inches on the two biggest ones so far. in my fourth pot as i said i have 4 seeds going to kinda have a few safeties in case of males, im hoping i can catch sex early enough to do a successful transplant. i know i have time before that but fingers crossed! Few more pic from watering about an hour ago, that first picture iis so beautiful to me at least. The others give a sense of how i have some vertical space to work with especially once i take them off of their risers. The last pot with 4 lil guys in there is the "tester pot" i was talking about previously, im assuming i will have a male or two in which case i have a few insurance seedlings going and a transplant will be in order.
