2 weeks into 11/13 - some pistils and first day of flower nute solution today

first two are Brainstorm and Mendocino Purple Kush
second pic is the two Power Kushes

I don't think 250 watt is gonna cut it for flower. I might have to upgrade somehow
They are packed in a 2.5x2.5 feet space. They transpire heavily at night which is why I have to keep the tent open

Just read all 16 pages of your thread. VERY nice man ;) I grew the Dinafem Cheese for a couple yrs also. VERY potent stuff. Not the biggest yielder by far, but the smoke was very nice quality as far as frosting/high goes. Those Blue Kush's are fn gorgeous! Gratz on the harvest and 400w HIDs are getting cheaper every day ;) I started w a 400w in a 3x3x6 tent and pulled 13 oz dry on my very first go. My thread is still on here, but its been awhile since ive posted. STay high man ;)

a 400 watter would require a bigger space and what not, plus they don't make the CMH in 400 watt power, and the bulb is what this grow is all about. I'll let it go like this or perhaps tomorrow morning cut on some older branches... hope it's not too late.

That is a really nice canopy mate! And I think the 250 will be more than adequate for flower especially in that space! I had to do the same with my tent, I had to keep it open to lower the humidity

It's funny that you ask. I did a little bit of lollipopping before I switched to flower regime and I was just considering cutting off more today but whatever I do now won't improve the total canopy space. So I'll just let me go like that. Total horizontal space is 2.5x2.5 and it's not filled out yet.
The bulb is at about 3 or 4 inches from the canopy with ambient temps 19 degrees Celsius!! FUCK YEAH LOVE WINTER!!
Also I do rotations every other day so the all the leaves have a good amount of light overall

I noticed Mandala are not big on fem seeds so they don't give much info on genetics. But it hovers around the Mexican sativa crossed wtih Afghani hybrid.
They do however have an excellent guide on growing strains as well as a "feminized stress test" article on their website.

Owt happening Grape? What you think of the Double Black? I've always wanted to do Black Domina but was I fuck going to pay £90 for regular seeds from Sensi. The only other option is the Afghani x Black Domina (off top of my head) from World of Seeds, but I think this looks promising.

The Black Domina looks impressive in the pics. Nice and sugary. With your set up you can have a nice yield as well. I say go for it if you can. As for me I couldn't find it at my semi-local seed shop and I'm fickle about ordering from abroad. On Thursday I ordered California Hashplant (Dinafem), Strawberry Cough (Dutch Passion) and Lemon OG Kush from DNA but they called me up to tell me that they are fresh out of the "DNA product" and I choose Pineapple Chunk from Barney's Farm instead :D I think I am going to run just one fem plant under the 250 watt bulb and a SCROG. I have plenty to choose from now but I'm quite excited about Pineapple Chunk. Or just the Hashplant OR the Purple Afghan Kush!!! Decisions decisions!
Anyway thanks for keeping close through all this time!

Some time ago I did some reading around and came to the conclusion that seed banks will always sell you their desired strain crossed with an Afghani or something to get rid of the inbreeding depression and maintain vigor in the seeds they sell; basically what you get is F1s so I don't think it matters if it's Black Domina x Black Domina or Black Domina x Afghani. Just get viable seeds for the right price! I hope that makes sense lol

On a personal note I can report that the medicine yielded from the Blue Kush and the Purple Bud, although modest, helped me cure my migranes and deal with other shit in my life. I still get the anxieties but that's probably because of lack of exdercise and generally my sedentary lifestyle... which I've also come to realize that I need to work on. So thanks a lot rollitup and everyone for the knowledge

Always fancied the Black Domina as it is 100% indica. Some very nice choice of strains there mate, always fancied the Strawberry Cough! I think the California Hashplant will be a great performer. Shame you couldn't get the DNA, but I imagine the Lemon OG will be similar to the Golden Lemons that I'm growing, so just jump into my grow! Haha
And I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Pineapple Chunk! Something I would like to do in the future! Once did an Auto Pineapple for outdoors and it absolutely reeked in veg! Then the rabbits got to it! :cuss:
And I'll always be knocking about on here mate, love it.
