Looking lovely mate, nice job!
Gutted to hear you won't be posting on here anymore, but I suppose all good things must come to an end eh?!
Good luck with your growing and with your job. Keep in touch with us, and I would love to see the Hashplant journal, so tag me in it once you get it underway!
Cheers mate!
I'll still be posting... just rarely :D I've decided I'm upgrading to a 400 watter very soon cause I feel like I need to be in direct competition with you :bigjoint:

400w seems to be a sweet spot for personal growing in a relatively small space. You can do 1 big plant, 2-3 medium or 4-6 small ones depending on how you like to grow and your space. The lights don't produce a ton of heat so no need for extra ventilation and you grow more than what an average user needs.

What a splendid decision! The 250watters are brilliant, as we have proved! And I would say they are perfect for someone who grows just for personal use or a hobby. I grow as a hobby but can now shift what I grow very easily so it makes sense to use a 400w.
And a bit of friendly competition is great, and its good that you are aiming high as well! LOL just kidding!

I will do 2 plants for the first run (California Hashplant) and continue on with one at a time. I feel like there's less maintenance that way and return will be the same (however it's way too much yield for what I need but you know you gotta post your results and be proud of em :P ). Personally I am tired of DIY porjects and don't have any time for that so I am going full professional growtent and overkill on the ventilation with 150mm fans and controllers :D

I have been looking into extraction fans lately, What do you use?

I use 150mm passive intake and 100mm extraction. The temperatures have been spot on, but I think I may need to upgrade when Summer comes round. Lets see.

What did you think of the brainstorm mate?
Grows fast and strong and seeds are cheap. It has a beautiful light green color with big buds but not very frosty. I would recommend it for what the seed bank says it is "a bumper harvest" but not great potency. As for smoking I can't tell because it was all made into butter.... which didn't have much potency compared to other batches. There's other variables to take into account for the potency of my batch of butter, but bottom line is it isn't very frosty, however it smells great (blueberries) and with a good harvest. Also I couldn't find any pests, disease or mold.
