250mh and seedlings?

hey. i normally use a bunch of cfls for the first few weeks but i my flower room is open and i figured i could just use the 250mh bulb for the little guys. anyone know what distance they should be from the bulb? it doesn't have a cool tube but i have great ventilation so heat is not an issue even getting close to the bulb....any thoughts on the distance?

fuck sakes it's always something lol what should I use for a few plants starting off lets say 4 for now..

i use one 100watt cfl and two 23 watt blue cflls for first week or so. the blue will increase your veg growth, i highly recomend at least one blue cfl.

this is for 8 plants usualy, but i'm sure it's enough light for twice that...

i usually have 6 23w blue cfl in a 1x1 area and get about 9 in there but i really dont want to set that chamber uip right now and i am going to start with bigger pots then normal..hence the mh. i guess if i see any stetching though ill stop being so damn lazy and get the wiring back together on the the seedling chamber
