26w LED enough to finish male?

Are two 13w 2700k Phillip LED bulbs enough to convince a male to throw pollen? Thinking about sticking it in a trash can.

Wantt tocollect some pollen, but rather not spend too much more money, or seed my whole tent.

Do you have any compact flourescant bulbs, just the ones you'd use as light bulbs around your house, that you could add alongside the LED bulbs?

I found a couple 13w and one 23w CFL. I may have another 23w hidden away somewhere, but I kind of doubt it, mostly switched to LED.

Picked up 3 of those socket splitters. So I have it rigged at 26w LED (2x13w) plus 36w CFL (1x13w + 1x23w) on a clip-on work light. 62 total combined watts.

Well, this seems to be a no-go. Ran it this morning for about 30-45 minutes. Went to move some things around, and the housings on the 2 LEDs were too hot to touch... actually burnt myself a bit. In an enclosed space? Nope. I'll go pick up a couple more CFLs.

You can absolutely use 15 to 30 watts of screw in leds to flower a small male plant in a small container. As long as your main goal is to collect pollen, it will work. I have done it with a single 13 watts screw in over a tiny male in a 16 ounce cup. Sitting in a small container. Worked like a charm.

I picked up a three pack of 23w CFLs at Lowes that only ended up having two bulbs in it (actually, it was a six-pack on clearance listed as having three bulbs, but only really having two... was annoyed when I got home, but still better than having to buy the whole 6 pack, which was the only other option... sorry, venting)

So now I'm currently running 46w of CFL in a trash can.

Can you try putting a fan on them? Sometimes even just some air breezing by can really help with temps!
