This will be my mother room, I have the lights i want to use hydrofarm 250w cfl reflector and a couple of 100w for side lighting.. what i dont know is ventilation, i have a 6" clip on fan in already for circulation but as for intake and exhaust i have an idea on what to use but i wanted to get some opinions and suggestions from some of you. Did the math and the cubic feet of my closet is roughly 19' (18.375 if you want to be technical). looking at some 120mm pc fans with 44-46 cfm and RPM: 1200 +/- 10%.. would that be enough or should i look into something more? Need something that wont take up a lot of space or make a lot of noise. Any input welcome! thanks

Yeah, you need to exhaust that heat out of the closet. That in itself will require some kind of odor control ( I assume anyway, not sure if your closet is in a house in the country where you don't need to worry about that or in an apt in the city with neighbors close by ).

That's very similar to the size cab I have (21.75x30x48in), and PC fans were not enough air flow. I'm using the S&P TD100X currently and quite happy with it.

I had 4x 140mm 45cfm fans + 1x 73cfm 120mm fan ... They just plain do not push/pull air effectively, maybe you'll be alright with CFL's, but I honestly doubt it. Check the link in my sig if you want to see the cab/grow. The PC fans are quiet and pretty cheap, but in my situation a PITA. If you really want to try it, PM me, I'll give you all the details on what I did.

i have a 6" cool tube for my 400w i tried to put it in there but it wont fit. im just using cfls for my mother and using my 400w cool tube for my flower.

i will be using a CF with my flower room but wont realy need to for this room cause it will be my mother only. she might have a slight smeel but nothing near enough to smell it untill you get close enough.

dammit, wish i saw this post earlier i just went out and bought a good 120mm fan.. 80cfm at 1800 rpm.. im going to go ahead and put that in and i also have another 120 for the intake that i used for my pc grow. i HAD a 6" inline but the motor blew out on it :/
