Well its day 6 and the operation is back up and running better than expected. All 28 seeds popped. and look like they are going to survive.

The seeds are from Black Skull Seed Co. I will get the strain names from my notes in the morning. I have pics of each plant but uploading on this phone is time consuming and the pics are low quality.

My main concern at the moment is getting the humidity up. I am ordering a digital humidifier within the week. My fans and lights could use a good cleaning too.

2 of the 3 lights are running at the moment. Next week I will kick the last one on. Using MH Digipulse bulbs at the moment for the vegetative growth. Running 20hrs a day.

Each bucket has clone strength nutes and root enhancer as of today. 8 buckets are 3.5 gal with 2 plants in each. 4 buckets are 5 gal with 3 plants in each. All my buckets get a dose of peroxide for added oxygen and each bucket is changed twice a week.

Its all going well so far. Going to smoke one and get ready for the next day.

Dude... Your going to need a bigger room. I belive you may have vastly underestimated the size autos can get in dwc.
That said welcome to RIU i admire your go big ir go home attitude. Much like my own.
Im watching this thread and will help you anyway i can :)

Thanks for the welcome,

The most buckets I have had in the room is 24. It was like crawling through a jungle. A really sticky jungle. The resin sap would be all over me and stuck to my arm hair. Good times.

These claim to be 8 week strains but I know that is pure bullshit. Planning on 11 to 12 weeks. Going to keep them on veg nutes as long as I can stand.

I am renting a room in town that I was keeping mothers in for a clone supply but that went south. I am going to use it for breeding autos. I am just waiting for the seeds to pop. I have to use CFL lighting to keep the bills down but if I can get enough seed for another crop that would be great.

Really excited I just hope it works out and I don't pollinate the main crop. I need to get some kind if pollen killer I can wash with and have a sterile change of clothes.

Edited for phone induced typos.

They where phenos and I vegged for 6 weeks, which was a huge mistake. But very exciting none the less. I would have to keep tying them back from the light. The taller plants hit the 7 foot ceiling and I bent them sideways over the shorter plants.I had a feeder system that I later used for mothers. Its an 8x4.5 ft grow tent.

I did not yield a lot for the space that was taken up, it was my first grow in the tent instead if a closet. Air circulation sucked and it was a lot of smaller popcorn buds.

The walls would sweat from the high humidity and I lost a lot of bud to mold in the drying stage. If I remember correctly it was around 20 oz dried after throwing away lots of bud. A lot of the buds would be full of a web like mold when I broke them open.

After that I changed to bubble buckets, got on a rotation schedule, and would harvest a 2-4 oz plant a week. Spent a lot to get the kinks out of the system. One plant was 7 oz but I vegged it for an extra month and it took up more space then it was worth.

Got a place for mothers last Jan and all was well up until recently. I got caught up with spoils of war and not the battle itself. I would be smoking so much weed that being sober felt foreign and I allowed myself to get distracted from the plan. Back and dedicated though.

Getting some significant growth every day. Had some Ph problems I had to correct, buy all is going well.

Tried to take pics of each row individually. The seeds I started for breeding are cracking their shells open. Shouldn't be too much longer for them.

Been misting the plants with purified phed water. It keeps the humidity raised for a short time which I am sure they appreciate.

I usually do a foliar spray at this point but not sure how it will effect autos.

I also noticed a fish like smell in a couple of the buckets I changed over this morning. Gave them a good cleaning like usual to eliminate it.

Not sure why this odor was present, I have never noticed it in previous grows or with this nutrient. Hoping its not from bacteria. Could be nothing... either way they have fresh water and peroxide.

Speed Haze is doing the best out of all the plants, they are in the first two pictures. Going to start tracking their growth.

Hey man im subbed you have a nice set up.
Are you using bacteria and peroxide. That smell you are getting is probbably root rot or if youa re using bacteria and peroxide then the peroxide is killing the good bacteria as it dies it smells.

I like how you have the plants staggered in height.Do you plan on rotating plants up closer to the light? Or are you going to angle the light? Are you just gonna let em go or train em,if you train them they will take up alot more room. Personally I think its way too many for that space but should be interesting

Ah shit, I was told mild doses of perixide would not effect the nutes. I am using Heavy16. They are getting clone strength veg nutes and root enhancer.

I change buckets every 4 days now because of root rot fear. Whole reason I started using peroxide also...

Yeah man sorry to be the bringer of bad news but you cannot use peroxide with bacteria its one or the other. Id go with bacteria as it give you a organic mix with your nutes and give a better taste and final yeild. Consider using the bacteria to make a tea which makes it even better.

Peroxide*

I want them to be focused on main cola growth. I was unsure of how close to have them to the light because the first few days they where really sensitive.

I turned on the third bulb last night and they all had significant growth when I woke up this morning.

I see pics if little autos and pics of huge ones, hopefully I get something in between that lol

I consider this good news, knowledge is power.

I switch buckets over again tommorow I will leave out peroxide. Hopefully having a high frequency of water change out will help prevent root rot.

The plants have nice white roots, I have been checking them every day. The majority have a long tap root and some have a bushier root ball with a short tap root.

I have an aquarium water cooler but its small and time consuming. Whatever works though.

Thats good man. Il link you a recipe to the tea i brew its very easy and its amazing. Make sure to keep you water temps between 18-22c or 68f-75f as this is where the most total dissolved oxygen is at in water which will keep away root rot.

first post i ever watched
that's a lot of plants in that space
must be using tap water also
i like one huge plant started from clone in DWC black bucket with 6" lid and use RO water with tea to prevent root rot
