Just use ballistic cheese. Only a sniper could target the holes.

Another Wisconsin-specific personal defense product here ... cn

For some reason this reminded me of the Steve Martin movie, The Jerk.

"Get away from the oil cans. They are shooting the oil cans, they don't like the oil cans, get away from the oil cans' or something to that effect.

I can't say I'm surprised by any of this this. People are reaching the ends of their rope and when it snaps, all hell can break loose. I expect this to continue to become more common as people get more desperate and frustrated.

There is a couple I know from church. They adopted 6 special needs children. He lost his job, she lost hers, they lost their home, the oldest was trouble from the very start is more trouble now. And since they adopted him they are responsible for every thing he does. They owe the State of Mi thousands and thousands of dollars for his treatments and incarceration. Plus, they have the other 5 that have physical and emotional needs.

Last winter the wife just opened the back door and wandered off into the snow (they live in the country), no shoes, no coat, she walked about a 1/2 mile and laid down in the snow to die.

He came home and found the children crying. He followed her footsteps and found her crying waiting to die.

These are the salt of the earth type of people and they aren't coping either.

That was an incredibly depressing story.

I'm just gonna curl up on the couch now and stare at the wall for a few hours.

Well at least there's potential for a happy ending.

We'll talk again in a few years when you can update the tale.
Good news is he was going to a trade school when all this happened and is now a motorcycle mechanic and has a job. A couple of church members heard about this and cobbled together their savings. Enough for a good down payment on a home, they'll have to make the payments. Good news is it is big enough for all them.
