2ftx4ftx6ft grow area. scrog,lst,fim,topped?

2ft wide, 4ft long,6ft tall grow space.
50/50 ocean forest and light warrior
full line of earthjuice nutes.
400 watt hps, 200 watt t5.

I was thinking about 4 monster plants, or 6 smaller plants? looking for maximum harvest. any suggestions such as scrog,lst,fim,topped.

Sounds like a good match for some fim or topping.

How does your 400 hps do with the 4x2 space? I was looking at making a similar system for this grow with a 600 or 1000, but I'm worried about the extra length creating dead spots lacking light.

nice. i have the exact same tent size and i used a 400watt hps and a few 85watt cfls and 70watt hps's. just got a new 1000 watt... but your best bet IMHO is you can fit 6 medium-large plants or 8 good medium size plants. i was getting no less than 6-7oz depending on strain.

Again in my opinion, SCRoG. I scrog now and I yield 10oz no problem with 470watts of hps. im running a couple tents like that and since you only have 6ft tall you want to grow the plants as wide as you can. scrog will make use of every single inch and all you have to do is get a mesh and zip-tie it at the height you want it.

What if i had 4-6 plants, then fimmed then about 3 weeks veg. Then put up the scrog. Or should i just do one or the other?

you can do both. fimming or topping basically makes them grow a lot wider, but doing both you have to remember that growing and flowering are going to take a little longer because the plant has to recoup. im on a power flowering schedule so i dont top or anything but it will get you much bigger plants and doing scrog too, youll have some big plants (wide big). but before you start flowering make sure to fill your scrog 50-75% to make the most of scrog-ging.
