2nd and 3rd harvests

Anyone ever done it? I dont mean revegitate it under 18+ hrs of light, I mean leave a few bottom buds and some leave less branches after harvest under 12/12 and add some good N-P-K ferts and begin the budding process over again. They say 4 to 8 weeks for a second harvest

I have read about it but I only hear about people throwing the plant back into 18+ hr to reveg it then after a few weeks starting the 12/12 flower cycle again.

What works? I would love to get a second harvest off the same plant without revegging it, As I have 2 younger plants that will take at least 8 weeks longer to finnish. What the hell I might just try it.

it wont work, but it kind of will, but no it wont. some of the lower buds may just fatten up, but it would only be like 2 weeks until they would be done, it would really be an extention of the first harvest. no new vegitative growth will happen, so their wont be any new bud sights, you wouldn't really stand to gain much from it, but you may. you should learn how to take clones, look it up in the faq, and veg your clones while flowering so their ready, or almost ready to flower when your crops done.

Clones are a good option but if something is flowering in my room, no way to go back to 18/6 cycle. I suppose I could set up a small veg. box but then again I'd grow between my T.V. and couch If I thought I could get away with it. Just not enough room for both. I have thought about getting an AeroGarden for strictly clones as I could leave it out of the flowering closet and Getting some light while in dark period wont hurt too much during the veg. stage. or just keep it at 24/0 so it wont matter. That may be a good option. I think I could get them close to18"-24" before having to transplant them but....Can you even transplant from Aeroponics to Soil?? I like growing in soil, I seem to do Ok at it, so thats what Id like to stick to.

you can reveg, but I thought you said you didn't want to. and reveging is supposed to take longer than if you just took clones.

From what I've read, the female plant produces resin in order to catch the pollen from male plants AND prepare to die. So... I would say that your plant will just die cuz it's old. But I've never tried it.

noone is really sure why pot has trichroms, the most commonly believed reason for them is to reflect, and refract strong light as to not damage the plant, it is also believed that its to keep animals and bugs away.
if pollen were to get stuck to a trich it would be useless.
