2nd attempt. 40W Homebrew / Coco / AF

I love it, and it'll be with me for a long while. It's very quiet. I have a pretty loud Wal-mart clip fan, it's not really noticeable, alongside it.

Maybe it's just psychological, but I feel like the girls are doing exceptionally better under the new light, especially Ms. Fatty in the corner. Buds are way more orange and maybe frostier too.

My next grow may turn out to be a couple of from-clone photos, possibly Purple Kush. Anciently (30 yr+) inbred strain from interior BC that my dad has smoked daily for 20 years. They'll be under the A51 the whole way through. I was thinking of trying out mainlining/scrog to stay under 5 plants but have a bountiful harvest.

PS: exhaust/filter/muffler to arrive within the week. Sorely needed, as they're gettin' decently stanky and humid.

Hey guys, day 64 seed/36 flower update. The evening I got down on my knees and shot a few too many pictures with a Nikon Coolpix. xD

But it's probably about time I give these bitches some names, eh? This one's gonna be called Buddery Popcorn... or maybe just Popcorn.


Her main cola is pretty stumpy, but maybe the rest will be more than larf in 4 weeks?

Much bigger main over here. The bud leaves, though, is that just nute burn? She's losing some leaf, too.

Flushing both with just cal/mag. Popcorn drank 1L overnight. Also the filter's in, works wonders, humidity's also down to 30%, but I really do need that muffler. Glad it's already on its way.

Also, what's this over here that I left under the flower light for too long lol node distance what node distance oh fuck it's flowering already. At least it's female. From the strain's breeder:

they have a high female to male ratio (70% female)

Day 70/42. Was late for a couple waterings, I think that's the main reason I'm getting so much yellow going on, apart from late flower defoliation.



Feeding 2L each, 2mL/L Cal/Mag, 5mL/L Bloom, PH @ 6.0

Alright, day 74/46, and I'm getting a little antsy 'cause this is a 42-45 day flowering strain, but here's a trich pic:



So that's like 2% amber, max, but I should have started flushing last watering, probably. Live and learn..
Also the bud doesn't seem appealing to me at 200x.. I can't wait for my next run.

Can i just say, Holy shit, i didnt see how fat Cornetto's main cola was before!



Fuck flushing, and 5% amber is fine, dont forget the objective of counting the ambers - safety net for the trichs to have definitely gone cloudy.

Yeah, but some % amber gives a higher %CBD, which I do like..

I'll chop 'em on Friday after a couple of days of flush.

Loving this thread (and the last, btw) as my first Devon Maid has just sprouted. Nice to see a couple of 'em so near harvest!

Well, you're in luck! Chopped 'em yesterday. Trimmed sloppily (my first time), wet weight of smokable bud is 100g (3.6 oz). Lots of larf and trim that I'll save to make hash.

Dry weight to come - also stay tuned for my next grow.

Mostly-dry smoke report: (Joint would be a no-go. Bong works fine, wouldn't try vape)

Nice! Tastes good and is really smooth. Started up at the top of the spine, moved to behind the eyes and throat. Began to feel floaty around 2 minutes after 2 mini-hits. 15 minutes later... I'm having a hard time typing this out. I'll give it 3 stars out of 5!

EDIT: Oh, and I'm going to start cure tonight. Stems won't break but don't bend easily anymore.

EDIT: Weighed it again, 31.02 grams! Wooo! Plus the big ol' jar of larf I'mma donate to my friend's batch of budder ;D

good work mr H. my little beauties are still in seedling stage but they're off to a fine start, i'll be very happy if I get a yield anywhere near yours (in fact I'll be happy just to finish the grow!)

I'd love to, but I'm really leery of leaving a trail- not that our local LEA is particularly bothered about a bit of weed, but the consequences for my working life would be pretty severe if nabbed. Anything weed-related goes through Tor / PGP- even browsing RIU, but I'm still leaning towards not sharing as much as poss.

I doubt I'll be able to resist posting bud porn if/when I get that far though =)
