2nd cfl grow- 12/12 from seed

well... I have been reading a lot since last time and decided on a 12/12 grow just to experiment and cut down length on my grow cause im an avid offroader, so summer time is hard to keep up on a grow. last time was bagseed, this time I ordered from natures green remedies. (fuck customs)! so I went with Jordan of the islands as a breeder and ordered the ambrosia strain, it also came with the freebie which was from mace genetics. ill post pics later! going to take a lot of pics this evening to show my setup and so on...so come along for the grow, comment, and help when I need it!!! happy frog soil mixed with perlite, just mylard the walls since last time, the joti seeds are looking good ,so are the mace tho,,... the stretch factor, is for some side shit I aint even showing rite now, .... cant wait for the out come of this one!

ok this is 10 days from planting of the germed seeds. happy frog soil with about 25% perlite added. temps run from 66 to 88 so im gonna buy a better (more cfm exaust fan). thinking on about 3 weeks in the solo cups then transplant to a 3 gallon smart pot. with the cfls I go for a low even canopy for maximum light. always do lst and topping ,but might not top this go around, we'll see how it goes! never done a 12/12 so its a learning curve. these might not even finish under cfls, im getting ready to order a 600 hps and try that out. but either way ill keep it posted here. from what ive read they should start showing sex at 3-4 weeks. if I get a low number of females im gonna go with bigger pots after the trans plant, but once again we'll see.. both strains are lookingreally good compared to some bagseed I have going with it. ill never grow bagseed again after seeing the difference, and this is only 10 days. ill show the bagseed at a later date so you can see a good comparison. oh and heres some pics of my closet and my hood and light setup

well 5 gallon smart pots it is... look at the size of these things? it just don't seem right? how is that as much dirt as a 5 gallon bucket? either way that is there final resting place

got another thing going now in the form of 600 hps... bout to switch it up and see what all the hypes aboutand good to see you as well!ill get some more pics up tomorrow.still the same plants ,just gonna move them to 5 gallon smart pots when I transplant here in a day or two, then move them under the hps!!! still working on that tent to set everything up!!

This is a picture of one that I cloned from another plant when it was already in flower. I kept the 12/12 and it made just one bud. 58 grams after harvesting, but after cure it only weighed 22 grams. Still pretty good with 12 100 watt (actual 24 watt?) CFLs. This was my second grow and only had bag seeds from some brick weed I'd bought this past summer. Finally got some good seeds; God's Dream and it just now sprouted. Good luck everybody.

i out grew my 2'x2'x4' box and built a 4'x4'x7' box but i think i'm going to learn scrog. i just thought i wanted tall plants indoors. running a 400w metal halide and some warm white leds. was going to get one of those converison bulbs but never did. owell there always the next grow. i still need more light to really run the box right.

I boxed up 4 sixty watt appollo cfl bulbs today to return to ebay seller, they are 300 watt equvalent each , but I decided I wanted to go big and build the Cree cob cxa3070 lights everyone is building over in the led section, one cob comes in at about 60 bucks now for 8000 lumens, and they run COOL, and only pull 60 watts to use, kinda cool

I think my brain and wallet outgrew this space I have personally never had a good hps setup, so im gonna put these plants under that to finish!!my wife said it looks like the sun

well so much for cfls. now I have a 60x60x80 tent with 600 hps cool tube in 5 gallon smart pots. those fuckers grew quick and got rootbound and I think it stunted them. had a couple of males that got the boot!! looks like im movin on up!! wow the difference in light is crazy!!I don't want to really start another thread so im gonna roll this here.. pics to follow

anybody else use smart pots? thinking I should raise these up out of the drip tray to let the bottoms air out as well!
