2nd grow, 1000w HPS

ok so this is my second grow. i start seedlings under 18-24hrs of 4ft tube lights, nothing special. grew both till they were around 18-24in. during this time the only "pruning" i did was take off fan leaves. then took em to the grow room and changed the lighting to 12/12. and upped the light to 1000w of HPS. (this time i gave it a week of 24hr hps before flip) the flip happened on 12/10/13. first signs of flowers were on Christmas day (ya i was a happy kid on x-mas morning). it took to long cuz i accidently set my lights for 14 on/10 off not 14 off. was trying to give it that extra boost since its just her in there. also i have been using General Organics according to the label in a one gallon jug of RO water. bloom/veg/sweetener/and flora blend (compost)



so here are my worries/questions

1. temps, daytime with the light it gets to 94 max usually 92. yes i know this is higher than it should be. also the outside of the grow room is usually about 58-62(not warm) and there is a draft under the door keeping roots/floor area about 64-68.(she is raised off concrete) night time it doesn't drop below 63-65. i have a fan that is also a heater keeping the room from getting way to cold.
2. I did Lolipop her, but this is the thing i did it at 3 weeks into the flip. bad choice, next time i will do it prior to flip.
3. are my buds about the right size or should they be a little bigger right now, being under 1000w
4. last plant was kinda harsh, but the thing is it tasted bad. like i was smoking dirt. got me a really heady high though.

please let me know what you think, i would greatly appreciate input. i am told this was a sour diesel seed.

Ok, here are some comments:
1) is there some white stuff on your leaves or is that just a flash photo thing? Pic 3 in particular
2) Read some threads on pinching off or FIMing, and Low Stress Training (LST) for your next grow. Your yield will be much better. You are getting too tall for productive indoor grow.
3) Bud size is hard to comment on - they should still pack out quite a bit - probably fine for where you are at in flowering.
4) Look into threads that deal with clearing your plants in final two weeks to get the nitrogen out of them - will smoke much better. I like the Clearex product for synthetic nute users.
5) Invest in a TDS/EC meter to measure your nutes. Adding more nutes to get bigger buds is usually a newbie mistake and takes many grows to do right. Those nute directions are usually not right for MJ so measuring you ppm and keeping good notes on feedings is the only way to learn.
6) Looks sativa dominant so be patient on your chop! Keep up the good work!

1.nope all leaves are perfect n green, i give her a little mist in the mornings before the temps are higher. to help with humidity. just misted her before the pics, photo thing.
2. im gonna do topping, should i do this when there is about five nodes? and then again farther on, that is how the "wider/bushier" type of plant is manicured right. to get multiple colas. i consider myself pretty smart here just new to a good light and area to acually get to flower. have had many plants none "done right" all half ass attempts. and i think i should be doing better with the light i have. or is it all up to nutes since i have plenty o light
5.where do i get one of these TDS/EC meters?

I think it's a little late for that. Your flowering right? That will take away from your bud production as far as I understand. Best to train the next grow but in vegetative. I'm on my first grow so I could be wrong but this is what I've gathered from the info I've read.

i took em off in veg and in flower once they were way big. i now realize this was way wrong. started to tuck em in now. i have taken like 8-9 clones off of her. (at different times, weeks one two and three i took clones, since the bottoms were not getting the light they needed.) the first two have rooted and doing well, i tried the FIM on those two. hoping to keep em shorter, and bigger buds

oh and i did some looking around and decided that she is now 15 days in (2 weeks) not 25 (3 weeks) i am goin by when she showed first signs of flower not when i went 12/12. seems like that just makes more sense

well fuck, the girlfriend destroyed all my clones and my flowering baby, so its back to square one! this is why i have never gotten to finish my flowers, phyco bitches!!!!!!

is that white powder. mildew ? rub your finger on it. to me its power mildew. you should (never ever ) mist a plant in flower.

no i know what powedery mildew is, and it was the camera flash.
