My ph has been high, i only recently got the pen so im working on fixing it. today when I watered it was 6.3 going in(trying to offset a little, ill probably do 6.5 next watering). As for ppm, im growing in soil, so im not sure how I measure that. All I can say is that I only have two types of fertilizer. one is MG 12-4-8, which ive been avoiding using until today, the other is jamacian bat guano that is 1-10-1. Today I watered a light guano tea(about half what the guano bag says to use) with a tiny bit of MG for the N, I wanted to verify with you guys that my issue was N before I really attacked the problem, but at the same time I didnt want to do something that was combating a non existent issue. I just added a little MG because I figured it wouldn't hurt, and if that was the issue it would at least mitigate the issue until I got advice. Also, the stems have always looked that way. they have always been purplish, so i think thats a strain trait, could be wrong tho.
