The one thing I've learned about Critical Mass, well with this plant at least, is it's ravenous. It just wants to eat and eat like a fat German Shepard!

Hence the name Critical Mass. Green Surfer, AKA Silver Surfer on Open Grow did a led grow with CM and grew some buds out bigger than his forearms. Not sure how big his forearms are, but they were huge for only being under 60w of led power.

Weekly Update, day 54, some where around there..
been @12/12, the sucker is stretching like crazy after adding the Magenta Kessil, have both Kessils on her now..
about 21", and flowering..
having to water everyday now, thought about super cropping her, but haven't yet..

FranJan, nice looking plants..

Those are super tall for being in a beer cup! Expect to see some leaf yellowing in the near future. What strain is that? How do you like the Magenta so far?

She started to yellow, had to add cal/mag.. seemed to help it..

I'm using the Kessils alone by there selves for this contest, after the results, I predict I might use them as side lighting or something, but not as the main lighting..

Hey sarge just curious as to how far you have the lights from your plants? Some of the stretch could be the plant looking for light. How far does Kessil reccommend the light be from the plant?

I have them about 16" above the top.. She probably is wanting some more light, but when I started this competition I said I was gonna use the Kessils and I really wanted to see just what they had in them, I been a little disappointed in the Kessils, but thats what test are all about.
I have been tempted to use the Solar Flare, but that will be next go around I guess.
I guess we will see just how well the Kessils are..

I'm running h350's along side a 250w mh right now. I think it will work well. I watched a grow in another forum use only 1 magenta over 1 bubblegum and got real nice buds off it. Think the name was Analog over in IC. Don't remember. He was in the process of adding some white leds as supplement.

Try a few more strains under it before coming to any final conclusions.

Day 33 update: She is looking like a runway model, it is too bad I can't give her all the time she needs. So she is now showing signs of flowering, and you guys don't need to get all jealous that I have the best looking lady in the house and she agreed to be deflowered by me. If there are any women in the competition or just women looking at the competition, please don't be offended at my comments! Royal Queen CRITICAL for the win!!!

Everyone is looking pretty good out there, definitely a competitive crowd. I am so frustrated that I got all this work piled on during this competition, I am not normally this busy. I have been really close to dropping out of the competition considering I don't seem to have enough time to properly care for all my beauties, especially the lady in red. I have maybe 3 more weeks of balls to the wall work and then some TLC for my garden afterwards, this cup could be so much more beautiful than it already is.

Well fellas, give my beauty a kiss now because it is the only one you are gonna get before I take her flower in another 6 or 7 weeks.
