Just got my 2nd order from Attitude. This was a big order for me. About 200 bucks worth. I was really hyped about getting the five freebies. Five seeds from Sweet Seeds were the freebies, which included a couple of autoflowers (this whole order was just a bunch of autoflowers, can't wait to get started!).
I don't want to go into detail about how the order was packaged, but I need to give some description in order to accurately describe my complaint, which is that I did not receive the five freebies. Only problem is, it is quite possible that I threw them away due to the way they were packed.
I ordered using the guaranteed option (wallet) and with the sweets option. When the package came, it included several things. A wallet (new, empty), five small metal tins with a dinafem seed in each (really cool little round tins by the way), a bag of candy (sealed bag of 'Revels' candy), and a gold metal tin. Inside the tin were the balance of the seeds I ordered.
I ended up throwing away the bag of candy. It was a sealed bag of candy. I'm not much of a candy eater, and frankly, I'm not gonna eat anything mailed to me from another country. Paranoid? Maybe. At any rate, I'm not much of a candy guy and I threw the candy away.
When I was trying to decide which of my new library of autoflowers to grow, I realized that the freebies were not there. I wrote to attitude to inform them of it. They wrote back today and asked me to check again. They said the five seeds would have come in five separate bulky packs and that there was a handwritten 'code' showing they were packed. Of course, this would ONLY happen to me on trash day! I'm not gonna say I would NOT dig through the trash to find a bag of candy. I probably would if I thought it contained five seeds! But they were gone forever with the trash. Doh!
I would never have thought they would have put five 'bulky' freebies actually INSIDE a sealed bag of candy (especially when all the other seeds were packed right there in the tin with no attempt to 'hide' them) but I guess in this case they did, as that's the only other place those seeds could have been.
The moral of this story is, if you check the candy option, make damn sure you actually OPEN the sealed bag of sweets! Elsewise, you might be throwing away your freebies!
