2nd Room design

I have two options in my head for a second room. Let me give you the background info first.
1st Room is 32 sqft
2nd Room is 27 sqft

Option 1. Convert 27 sqft into veg/mom room. The traditional approach.
Option 2. Build a light proof box in the 27 sqft room, use this box for moms and cloning. Use the remaining 20 sqft as a second grow space.

I'm thinking option #2 sounds nicer. Anything I'm forgetting to consider?

With option #2, the mother/clone box will be getting bombarded by 2 light (heat) sources: directly from an interior one, and indirectly from an exterior one. Have you considered this in your heat management and ventilation plan?

Yep, exchanging the air every 3 minutes within the room, expecting exhaust fans to do the same in the light tight box. (baffle box design for air intake/exhaust for light proofing) Temp in the room will remain in sync with the temp in my home. Also using cold air for bubblers.

Cool. Sounds like you've thought it through. Go for option #2.

In my experience with vegetation. Lighting is not especially important.
I can vegg under a single fluorescent bulb.
When the sun leaves start to grow that's when lighting is important.
As you get a few grows under your belt you'll start to learn what works best
for your environment. Merry Christmas.

That is totally off the wall and irrelevant to the topic. Whatever you are smoking must be good.
